running 2 or more maplestory

Is it still possible to run 2 or more maplestory clients on 1 computer, can u provide me info on this please. If u cant then can u please say which methods r still working. Becuz i have heard virtual machines r patched... Also wat r the downsides of running more then 1 client of maple, except lag.....If this thread doesnt belong here, im really sorry and u can move it to an better section.. posting from a PS3. I believe it can be done on XP, Vista, and maybe Windows 7 if you log onto different user accounts and open a client on each one.

I tried that once and my computer crashed =_=

Unless you got a good computer, dont try it.
Anyway I dont think it works since Ahnlab would do something to prevent it. (as far as I'm concerned, only 1 ahnlab client can run at a time)

I don't have the best computer, but I can run 2 maples just fine with no lag.

im getting a new computer commin in 1st week of september or end of august, and its a basic gaming comp so hopefully its manageable and i can always put more ram in to my new baby thats commin ...man its hard playing this game with only 1 maple, i wana play 2~4 maples at the same time lol. Help me with 24/7 shops so i dont waste alot of NX for the Mushroom shops etc.

Will this effect my computer anyway negatively? Like when im not playing maple? like the other accounts takin my Mem(even if they arent on) And 1 more thing, can i have like 3~5 maple on my comp then? im sure ill have a good comp that can support all that.

You theoretically could, but it's not recommended. And no, no negative effects that I'm aware of.

I have not experienced any negative effects, just restart your computer after you had to many maplestory's open.
Yes its possible to open 3-5 maples. I have cpqed with myself being 2 in the losing party and 2 in the winners party.

@ How you can run 2 Maplestorys. When you make a new Windows account, it is not empty, there are some files/programs on it. One of it is Maplestory. So just run the client like you normally do.

Cant wait till i get my computer..right now i dont have one im using a ps3 for 5 months LOL HAHA to the above i wanted to do the exact same thing lol!... well for now when i get my computer ill install XP becuz its so great and wait for the better version of windows 7!!

yeah the multi user accounts work. I've been doing this for CPQ and badge afking =)

only downside is when you close maple too fast, it'll sometimes crash your compy, but other than that, just lag, which is easily fixed by internet connection or a relog =)

ye im gona cpq too, im gona get 7 times more faster internet(just upgrading my DSL connection) so im good haha

Im using vista and both are administrator accounts. I tried even to swap hackshield with the one on maple site but still didnt work =(

Well its error with intialisation? #204 something when it should load hack shield.
I went read on faq and it said about admin rights or hack shield allready running so i guess it detects it runs twice or something.
Either way... what about W7? Prolly same thing because of simmilar code as vista.

Gives hackshield initialization error 516 on Vista. Tried it several times, it only worked once for some strange reason.
