Question about Maker Quests

I was wondering if the Maker quests go towards your quest count to be able to recieve the Quest Specialist medal. For example, The quest that involves you making practice shoes, does that go towards the quest count or not? I'm wondering this, cause I find no point in doing it if it doesn't benefit me D: Thanks for the feedback =]

I believe they do, yes. Also, they give pretty ns EXP.

Yes, it does. If it goes in your quest log, it can pretty much be counted towards the overall quests completed. The maker quests go in the Job category.
