It could go to so many place i'd put it right there, no harm
#1
yes as it could go under "General MapleStory" or "Angry Dome"; it could as well udner "Technical help", and why not under "Maple Guide" as the title thread "omg how to survie into neo-MS when you're from beta"

I've discovered MS on the japanese flavor just a bit before it went beta for western/sg population. blablabla (years of Cursed Sanctuary forum) and then got to gMS, because in the meantime i've moved from Europ to US and the jMS-lag was bareable in Europ not in the east coast. more blablabla that's not the point, just a background

This is the screanshot that resume everything:

I could go along as well with all the people asking "what is maker?"

I would totaly understand this behavior from a -50 quy, I mean I've been into discovering this game, sometime you have to ask dumb question... I'm meaning that at 121 if you're still asking those kind of question you'd probably wouldn't have survived the 35 cap lvl from first versions....

So here I was in Leafre chanel-1 a saturday peak-time trying to get a newtiePT to desperately jump 120-leech-free

P.S.: 118 but 4 anego down, 1 pap soon (just need more stars for the long run...), BF when i recharge pot.
tons of BMM, ZMM, rog etc.... people in Kradia, and I guess everywhere else, leech that much that I can do a full-chan-round-boss-trip for those guys and many more, for instance just this morning I had 4 anego (PT not the one i count ealier) straight with guildies, 4 pineappleing anego straight. That is a 8 hours spawn monster: "Wake up guys!!!"

_party search is probably the most unknown device in Kradia-gMS, maybe beside Maker

_mp3.. MSers use too much acronym "srs lf 2x tr whm"

_the last one as the real question, and it is still a good question.

PPS: another amazing example: ePQ! When you start speaking about El Nath PQing everybody goes crazy about a new PQ beeing in El Nath... priceless

did you also take into consideration that she could've been asking what a newtPT consists of?

edit: because that's what I read it as...

yes and if at 120 one doesn't realise what it takes to make a good party one's probably missing what MS is

I never partied at newts until 125. she was obviously soloing with a non leeching hs mule.

level =/= intelligence

Personally, I've got no character above 89, and I'm not sure what the typical newtie party consists of. But if I took a single walk around the map, I'm pretty damn sure I could give you close to(if not) the best party configuration for it.

I miss the days when people stood in ludi and spammed for MDTPT, or VKPT, or... what else GBPT?, SQPT? DPT? Anyone else remember the days when people actually joined together for leveling?

Lol at x2per, anyways, just type out party, it's only three more characters, technically two since you don't have to press shift.

People will always be like this. The average player age in GMS, I wouldn't be surprised, is probably half that of JMS. In other words, people are usually incompetent and ignorant, choosing instead to ask the questions and wait for the answers than do research, hang on a rope instead of push buttons to train, and buy Gachapon, etc. in order to make quick money.

 Spoiler

By the way, a party can still be an ultimating Magician with various attackers. Just because ultimates have changed how we train doesn't mean we no longer party TO train (though leeching on a rope isn't true partying). As games progress, they evolve and change, and so do the methods of partying, training, and leveling. It's okay to use new things to your advantage; that's how the world works. But allowing yourself to fall into a spoiled, ignorant mentality with such new upgrades is unacceptable. Again, the issue here is not game updates making people stupid, it's the inability of people to remain smart and mature with the passing of time.

The way I read it the guy is asking if he could join the party and is asking what jobs you need/want.

Most people in global call them JNPT (jr newtie par ty?)

And I don't see what the problem is, my Night Lord is 126 and I never leeched, and I've spent less than 20% of a single level in a party (Marksman friend asked me to, I didn't like it so I left).

So whenever your guildmates ask for help you act like a jerk and post it on a site, trying to make them look dumb? How rude is that? How about teaching her rather than being a total pimento?

Leeching is legal in gMS, as Nexon has stated. How can you complain when she is following all the rules? Even if you refuse to help her, you don't need to treat her like a retard and post the screenshots all over the internet.

I had no idea what the PT part meant until i read it over.

Anyway, leecher=fail. Why becuase they dont work for levels like I do, they just stand there and do absolutly nothing. Im a cleric, and ive never partied anybody outside of a pq, and I personally think that grinding is easier than pqing after some time. Leeching is for the lazy of the lazy people.

Back to the main topic, you didnt have to make her feel like a retard, it sounded like a good question to me, because i didnt know what PT meant either.
