Monitor Problems

Okay, so power outage blew my first monitor, so I had to get an old one from the garage. The settings on this one are f***ed up, its not centered properly and the size is messed horizontally. This wouldn't be a problem if the monitor control buttons weren't broken.
So basically, is there a way to reset the monitor resolutions without using monitor control buttons (found at the bottom of the monitor)?
