??? Maker

In Maker I noticed there is an option labeled ???. In the manual i read that you combine random amounts of ingredients to make something. Now I read somewhere that this feature is used for creating items from a different job, but when i tried to make a red maro (5 red powder, 5 basic monster crystal 1) it said that my production failed. Now I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with creating something with this, and if so, what did you make and how did you make it? If this can make equips it is HIGHLY useful as no matter what the equip, you can apply 3 jewels.

Haven't been able to make anything out of it. I've tried both, using random powders and Monster Crystals and using formulas from recipes posted here.

I've even tried to create stuff from my own class, but that's not registered in what my characters knows.

I believe that slot is reserved for Makering Quest items.

I believe that if you know the exact recipes, even items for other classes, you can craft them under the ??? tab.

If you have been reading, they tried that and it did not work.

I was under the impression that several items share formulas, and the only way the game knows which one to make is by checking your class, so the "make other class gear" doesn't seem pratical.

Mhm, you can put anything in the 6 slots, including equips(lol). If I had any production manuals I'd try it ~_~

For some reason I just got the idea of combining an equip and a scroll. I dunno. So, it isn't used for makering other job equips? Then what the hell do you do...? Try forging some ore? Maybe memorize a recipe from an actual creator NPC, then try the ingredients yourself?

tested with production manuals. it doesn't do a thing.

I'd kill for a pot maker skill, but Nexon is sometimes up there in the clouds thinking their next idea is supah awesome,.
