I got sick of the other crap certain other sites were pulling. Like the lack of information, having to explain something a million times in the same thread because people dont fucking read, consistent flaming, immaturity, (kinda)inactive mods, and general douchebaggery. SouthPerry has been a good change for me imo.

Yeah. Or well, turning it positively: I like how this board consist of many people devoted to searching for and finding formulas and how to do this and that the most efficient. JoeTang's calculator, Fiel's extractions, your compilation of formulas, Noah's probability-work, Kortestanov's monster damage calculator, LazyBui's attack speed reference, Isaac's maplestory history, Eos' ETA to 200 and probably many others I've forgotten. We're all combining our specialities and share them among others.

It's a smaller community, for one thing. The other sites I don't feel like I know anybody because there's just so many people. Also, the community here is able to swiftly resolve rumors instead of letting them fester like the other sites.

This. Everyone has their own brand of silliness, but when it comes down to it can be relied on to answer questions with the best of their knowledge.
