Question on vanish
#1
So I made a Night Walker and in the mix I decide not to look at any guides because a 1st job Walker is the same as a 1st job thief right? So now I notice that since I didn't max Dark Sight I can use Vanish at all. Is vanish that great that I should go crazy and buy SP resets to max DS or will I be able to live w/o it? Stunned

Darksight is very useful for misting maps, when used in conjunction with Sudden Attack. If I were you, I'd reset your points from Dark Sprite into Darksight. Or if you think you can pull it off without losing your Blessing, restart your character.

For things like Poison Sling and Flash Jump only the first point in Vanish is worth it so you can poof out of Dark Sight without having to use regular attacks.

Monsters don't attack you when you're in Darksight, and you can use Poison Sling right out of Darksight then renchant it, so you can get some pretty awesome immortality going.

Monsters with physical based attacks don't attack you in dark sight. ex : himes, black crow, bigfoot, newties, nest golems.

Most monsters will attack you in dark sight.

That NW is a real noob Goggleemoticon I can go much faster even with the lag from being 4000 miles away. I didn't try newties, but it could be a potential gold mine for exp.

Don't Newties attack you with its magic hit when you're in range? I'm planning to try Skeles when I get Sling. ;x

They do, and skeles would be way too dangerous for anyone without massive amounts of charms to try.

Newties won't target you if your in dark site. Anego on the other hand will target you regardless of ds or not. Thats the difference.
