What happened to them? I know I'm not crazy and they used to exist. When and why were they removed?

They still exist from what my sources tell me, but in GMS they don't >.> I wonder why /sarcasm.

Maybe too many people requested to have them removed, which proved to be quite a simple(?) work for our competent programmers.
