The Brand New Monthly Nexon Opinion Poll! (

After having seen the public opinion on Nexon generally being extremely wishy-washy for so long, I thought this might be an amusing look at how public opinion differs with each month as Nexon and MapleStory progress.


This first one will be a look at public opinion as of Cygnus and Maker being released.

There really isn't a need for a specific thread for people to post opinions in because they're more likely to create own threads or even start a thread AFTER the patch is up.

The poll wasn't even there when I first posted so

They've actually been getting better. Other than this new 'rumored' hack (i still dont believe it, bite me) patches and server checks generally end up time or earlier, there are no more hekkors, the only thing im complaining about is the economy.

im thinking the lack of cheaters is more due to the institution of player GMs with banning capabilities than any nexon employees. the system is good and was needed, but nexon isnt putting the effort into banning people themselves because it would be a waste of several paid employees' time.

i voted status quo. ive disliked nexon a long time. maker is overdue and the cygnuses will be glitchy the same way they were upon release in msea. but at least theyre here.

Nexon is like a rollercoaster. They have ups and downs, but mostly downs

At least the downs tend to have fiery explosions.

About the same, really.

They get even greedier from year to year.

I can just see this becoming a Nexon-flaming thread.

Nexon has never been better or worked harder. I have a shrine at home dedicated to the GMs, and I worship them each day early in the morning by burning a slab of bacon as sacrifice for the almighty Nexon employees. I suggest you guys do the same. Nexon is so wonderful that I find it shameful that you guys can be so negative about the company. It just makes me so angry when you disrespectful pricks start jabbering on about how "They don't do this" or "They don't do that". You guys need to shush up and stop complaining all the time.

I also make love with a life sized GM each night. It's been an amazing experience.

They seem more competent when it comes to patches/SCs, releasing new contents and keeping contact (to a certain degree) with the customers. This is their plus.
However they're trying to milk every possible profit out of MapleStory lately. This is an innegligible minus.

Overall, I'd say that Nexon has either paid more attention to this game and use their wits in a productive way or they simply found the intelligence from elsewhere.

Still doesn't explain this sh[SIZE="2"]it[/SIZE]ty customer service they provide. If GMS were to have gotten the mass hackings instead of SEA, NEXON would be saying a lot of "Oh that's too bad, it's your responsibility" bulls[size="2"]hit[/size].

I voted going downhill
Recently they have improved, but with the change of mts and the VH my opinion of them changed quickly.

They have gotten alot more greedier really imo with the new MTS changes and VH coming out but as far as communicating with their customers, they have really begun to show an improvement I didn't think was possible for awhile there. I'm about 50/50 still I just need to see if they follow up on "current" promises.

Lol, yes. We can always expect much raging upon said explosions. As well as further raging upon nexon's obscene delay of correcting said explosions.

I do think they've become better at customer service type stuff. Hackers are no longer completely rampant, they're better about addressing problems, and they've gotten more punctual about their patches/SCs.

On the other hand... I don't like how blatantly greedy they've become. Lately it seems like they're just trying to find more ways to squeeze more money out everyone.
I lol at the Friday 2x... gj nexon at perfectly placing out 6 hrs of 2x over 12 hrs to optimize the amount of 2x cards ppl will buy.
