It's supposed to go back to normal, but I hope it doesn't.

Watch, the event will be extended for a 2nd time. There's also the possibility it will be just implemented permenantly which would probably be smart on Nexon's part so people don't quit so early.

It's like the Harry Potter movies. They tell you it will only be out in theaters so more people will watch (EXP curve = more 2x EXP cards and people staying). But obviously since Harry Potter is so popular, it would be stupid to NOT sell it on DVD (making EXP curve permanent for overall more money).

This. I'm tired of being spammed to death with Smegas because Scania can purchase power leveling from some guy in Egypt. (Even though they all deny it. Durrhurr)

Why are you guys complaining, the curve doesn't take anymore than 15% off of a level. That's hardly a big difference.

It takes 25% off of a level, good sir.

I could of swore it was 15% for 31 and under and 10% for 31+.

Nope. 50% for 30 and under, and 25% for 31-200.

Nobody knows for sure if they're keeping the EXP curve.

I think that they might keep it though. They've already extended it once and it keeps quite a few people playing MapleStory; whether someone wants to reach max level or someone likes making a lot of alternate characters, it's definitely a helpful system that keeps people coming back for more. It'd be pretty foolish to take it away now.

I hope it stays for good. I play for fun, not challenge.

Wait, 25% less exp isn't the same as 25% more exp per kill.

0.75 = x => 25% exp taken away

1 = 1.25x, thus
1/1.25 = x
0.8 = x => 20% exp taken away.

Whatever. Math was never my forte. It's still above 15%.

You need to get out of Scania good sir. It's (mostly) a craphole for a reason.

25% less exp takes away the challenge in Maple? Rrrrright.... Redface

4x Exp and Nexon allowing Bish leech selling so Nexon gains money from leeching, destroyed the challenge in Maple about 20 months ago... Glitter

Oh and don't expect that Nexon is going to make even MORE people quit because of the higher exp per level they would get when Nexon put back the old exp tables... Heart

Actually I think Nexon should lower the EXP per level even more, this will encourage even more people to leech multiple characters to level 200! Awesome money for Nexon! Yay... more leechers pl0x Glitter

put it this way, with this curve and family 4x, lvling from 199 ->200 is roughly the same as lvling from 181-182 w/out curve and just 2x.

What is this...
._.
You guys get a curve and 2x stacking stuff,
while I get a new exp formula that ruins party training.
>_<

Well, I think they changed the formula back. . .
BUT STILL
Eek

Keep it for the lazy players that don't wanna grind. I'd rather train for 2-3 hours and level than train for 4-6. Not that I'm going to leech though..
