You don't make beginners for cygnus, when you log onto your main after the patch you will go through a cut scene and be able to make your noblesse.(Cygnus beginner)

Don't make one. Cygnus classes cannot be made through a beginner; you have to create a Noblesse, a Cygnus beginner, after the patch. There's nothing you can do to get ahead of anyone except level your main character. Increasing the level of your main character will increase the power of your Cygnus character once they are linked.

All you need to make a beginner for is to save a good name.

Oh I also had another question, 1 of my buds told me that if you create a cygnus on an account with like lets say a bowmaster or nightlord, It'll choose the job for you? or is that complete BS?

when you hit lvl 10 as a noblesse, Ninehearts tells you to speak to one of the Cygnus Knights. that's basically when you choose what job you want to be.

Mihil - Dawn Warrior
Oz - Blaze Wizard
Irene - Wind Archer
Eckhart - Night Walker
Hawkeye - Thunder Breaker

and then all of your job advancements go through that same person.

Oh and use the highest levelled char and go to erev.
Just better that way.

If I decide to choose a class, let's say warrior, and change my mind and wish to make a Nightwalker instead, does that mean my new cygnus (meaning that I delete the original) won't get the benefits from my main?

I'm not actually quite sure if you can even delete Cygnus characters. But you can make more than one if you have enough slots. Since the patch will give you an extra slot, if you already have another lv 20 adventurer, (or wait a month for the newer system) you can make another Cygnus. But if you happen to be able to delete Cygnus characters, then yes, your new Nightwalker will get bonuses from its parent character, as long as you made it through your main.

I'll need a bit of correction myself, really, but those are two of your options.

Hmm. That makes a more sense, but I'm mainly worried about what would happen if I was to delete, if possible, the beginning cygnus character, make another, and not be able to get bonuses from my main since it would have had previous ties with the previous cygnus.
pineapple, this is like the twilight zone.

your "parent" lvl divided by 10 = att/acc/avd/etc boost your cygnus will get

it works the other way around too.
