Too late to complete these quests?

Right now I'm at the point where I can turn in Dran's notes to either of the groups in Magatia or to Phyllia. I was wondering, is it too late to drop my Alcadno and Zenumist cape so I can begin the Re-acquiring capes quests? I'm thinking that it's not too late, but I wanted to be sure before I drop my capes.

You can still do it as long as you haven't done the final quest in the chain (Dran's Notes).

You're referring to this quest, correct? I've already completed that 8 part quest chain.

All I have left is these to do:



'For Alcadno' and 'For Zenumist' both ask for your cape and Dran's notes, which is why I was thinking I still had time to do the re-acquiring capes quests. Are you absolutely certain I can't do the re-acquiring cape quests right now?

You can do those cape quests as long as you haven't turned in the notes, after you turn them in you can't do them anymore.

I was mostly wanted to do these to boost my quest amount since I'm so close to getting the Quest Specialist medal, I'm at 792/800 right now.
