1.) Zakum uses its lightning attack (which seals upon hitting) and a Shadower successfully Fakes. Is he sealed or is he completely unharmed?
2.) An IL Archmage pulls out Ifrit (or w/e it is) against Lilynouch. Lilynouch casts Damage Reflect, and then Ifrit attacks Lilynouch. Does the Archmage receive retaliation damage? This question applies to summons in general.
3.) A Shadower uses Smokescreen to provide cover while attacking left Pianus. Pianus uses his Seal skill (or dispel, whichever). Does the Shadower become sealed?
4.) A Shadower uses Smokescreen to avoid Lilynouch's damage. Lilynouch casts Damage Reflect. Does the Shadower receive retaliation damage?
5.) Same as above, except using Meso Explosion. What happens if you have multiple sacks going off at once while Lilynouch has Damage Reflect active?
I think there might be more, but I can't remember them atm.
Much help appreciated, thanks xD

Summons don't trigger damage reflect iirc. At least Octopus doesn't, hopefully that can be generalized to all summons. Don't know about the others, fairly sure you can't take damage or receive status effects in smokescreen no matter what, and that ME hurts you.

Fake only protects against damage, so the shadower will be sealed.
Smokescreen protects against all attacks and any effects caused by attacks. If Pianus's dispel/seal is caused by a damaging attack, then you're protected against it.
As for Lilynouch's damage reflect and smokescreen, I went to find out and lost a charm because of it. Yay for science. Smokescreen does not protect from damage reflect. I'm guessing this is because it doesn't appear as an attack that actually hits you, but just a decrease of your hp. Didn't test it with ME because I assume it'll have the same result and I don't feel like dying in the name of science more than once a day.

So I take it you'll still get dispelled/sealed. Because those are skills, and they have nothing to do with Pianus' attacks.
Thanks for some definitive answers =) In the name of Science!

An example could be Zakum sealing lightning attack. Smokescreen protects you from the attack and therefore also against the sealing.
I'm pretty sure I saw something about it mentioned on SP before. That mostly all the seals/stuns/dispels were caused by attacks except for either the Geists or Paps skills.
Found it
Devil Wrote:Well there are 2 different dispell/stun/seal ways:
- One where it's an unseen attack, that never hits you (like papu dispell, which is really dumb, I hope they alter it some day...). Smokescreen can't protect from that because it's no real attack.
- The other way is Manon/Griffey dispell, that one works only when the dispell attack HITS you. All -those- status effects, Smokescreen protect against.
So as long as there is -any- form from attack that hits you, smokescreen cancels it when you're in the Smoke in the party of the Shadower that casts it.

Still looking for confirmation on 2 and an answer to 5, especially with using multiple bags.

The damage off mage summons is reflected.
I had my ifrit out on a ladder, and once I jumped off, my summon attacked lilynouch, and my friend died immediately. He didn't even atk yet.

What the heck...? o.O
Because your Ifrit attacked, your friend died? o.O Sorry, I just had a hard time believing that.

Yeah that doesn't make sense at all. Me and Kaj didn't get hurt when Isaac attacked during reflect.

Does it do damage to the person attacking or people in damage range? (Lilynouch)
I thought I remembered being 1 hit by my ifrit attacking, but I'm maybe 40% sure about that. I died like 20 times because I didn't know what was going on.

I tested an AM's summon three times with Damage Reflect on. I received no damage. It was Elquines, if it matters.

Hm, that is odd. Might be a mistake on my part then.
But he still died without doing anything, which was weird.
