Price gouging, or price due to Karma Scissors?

I just sold 4 Helmet DEX 70%s to a person who offered 28m for one. Now here's the deal. I didn't say anything; I pretended like that was the normal price, because the last time I bought those scrolls to scroll my Zakum Helm, I paid 14-15m, which I already thought was a ludicrous price. Now I somehow got a buyer who practically paid me double for what I bought the scrolls for. I didn't care if I was selling under priced. I was simply happy that I made an instant 54-55m profit.

Now ze question: Are Helmet DEX scrolls really this expensive now due to Karma Scissors making more helms available to immediately scroll, or am I just a lucky participant of a coincidental Helm DEX price gouge in good ole Bello?

Probably due to zhelm availability. It's not too hard to imagine some zruns where a zhelm gets wasted because no one needs it or someone keeps relooting or something.

So what are the average prices of Helm DEX 30%/60%/70%/100%s because of the new demand for these scrolls?

I've seen 9/160/30, haven't seen 100%s for sale at all. Up from maybe 3/60/14/60 on Bera pre karma.

Holy sht 160m for a 60% Helm DEX? Do people even know that it's possible for hunt for them from a certain monster as well as a certain Area Boss? And no, don't mention the monster or else I'll be raging hard for spoiling the drop monster.

But after reading about it here... woo, do want some price checks for it in Windia! To think I could've ripped myself off... *feels insanely lucky thanks to this thread*

Yeah, basil's price checks have recently been... very lowball. As in about 1/2 to 1/3 the price I end up selling stuff in the FM. Everything from equips to scrolls to skillbooks.

Being as I'm always for people actually getting more scrolls into the market, I think i'll be a jerk and even save people the time clicking the link. Chief Gray, Crogs, Master Chronos, Minor Zombies, Moon Bunnies and Seruf.

Meh, Basil's official price checks are... not so good. It's more accurate just to look for auctions for the item. Which are hard to find, sometimes.

Mind if I counter you? I got my scroll from one monster, and it was not a single one of the things you listed.

I left a message in GodIyNL's shop as he was buying the scroll before I read this today (this had been a few days back), but he never got back to me. Oh well. I'll work on selling it soon.
