Need PQ Opinions, Have PQ Questions
#1
Okay guys. Most of you may or may not know that I'm going for the PQ Mania Medal, but I've hit a little bit of a road block.

So far, KPQ is out of the way with an S Rank, and my character is level 50. He's been working on LPQ and EFPQ. EFPQ has been going by just fine, no problems. LPQ on the other hand...In 15 tries, I've had 5 fails. That's a freaking 33% fail rate. I'm not happy with that number at all. And that's 50% of what I'm allowed to fail, so I'm dropping LPQ.

Now...The question is, which other PQ should I be doing in it's stead?

I was thinking to do MCPQ; Just looking at the numbers, it'd take roughly 23.3 hours to complete (assuming I win 140 times in a row, going in with friends, and then entering/exiting the last 60).

PPQ Is out of the question. Sure, it's 90% Win Ratio, 100 tries, but you need to do 350 PQs to get the level 90 hat, which is required for the S Rank. I can only stand so much of PPQ.

I was already planning on Magatia PQ, but I've all the sudden had a few people saying 'No, Magatia PQ sucks!'. I was wondering, on average, how fast does MagPQ take? It's only an 80% Win Ratio in order for the S Rank, which appeals to me. I've just been unsure of the time since I've never MagPQ'd before.

Also, what about OPQ? What's the average time for that? I've only done it a few times way back when it first came out on my now retired Priest in Broa; LONG stories with him...I hated it. Let's just put it that way. Is it possible to get it done in the required less than 15 minutes for the S Rank? OPQ also has the 90% Win Ratio, 100 tries, Goddess Wristband Needed.

And I'm already planning on doing HPQ.

I also extremely regret not doing ACPQ...I just didn't like how it's an unfair advantage with someone if they have a pet. It's glitched, so if you go in with a pet, it stays with you inside; it doesn't go away. I ran into far too many cheaters...

Those are really my only options. I may have to end up replacing MagPQ with OPQ, if that has a faster time...

I'd just like those questions answered, and everyone's opinion on OPQ and MagPQ. Thanks so much!~

Magatia PQ is actually the most fun I've ever had with a PQ before. Very creative, and if you have a good-average party, it should take (just my approximate) about 10-15 mins or so. I've never actually timed my PQs because I never get tired of it. Tongue

I would suggest MPQ, but if you really want the PQ Mania Medal, I don't suggest levelling yourself just to MPQ. gl with the rest. Big Grin

Oh, and I would actually suggest putting off LPQ. My suggestion is to CPQ and suicide to keep yourself at lv 50, then start LPQing again with Cygnus Knights. A lot of people will bring their Knights there for Broken Glasses because they missed it when they came out, and they have a new character.

So MagPQ is worth it? By the time I get to that level, I'll already have 4/5 S Ranks done. I've just never done it before; when it came out my pirate was just one level past the cap, so I haven't tried it. It actually looks really fun; I'll have to look up videos on it and such.

I'm seriously thinking about doing CPQ; I'm trying to rig up a way to get friends to help me out with it so I can win 140 times, then enter/exit the last 60...lol. CPQ is fun, none the less.

hmm, i'd go for MPQ, it is quite fun, though i can't stand more then 4 in a row, because every time i do MPQ it's 20~30 min. (not even close to 10~15). BUT, if you do it with friends, it might not limit you to noob people and finding a mage. (remember, you need a mage and a thief for MPQ.)

you should have done ACPQ.

go for MCPQ, you can do it with a friend, and both of you having maple working on another account on the computer. i'd check after how much time you get a win if the other party quits, and just cheat my way in rooms 3\4 (go in, go in with mules, wait till time-to-get-a-win passes, quit with mules).

same cheat works on ACPQ. go in with your char and a mule that runs on another account on your comp.

unless you plan on a legit medal, and in that case, good luck... (personally, i'm going for the quest medal, 525\800 at the moment, filling my monster book on the way.)

Magatia PQ is "LOOKING FOR A DAMN MAGE", OPQ is "LOOKING FOR A DAMN PERSON TO OPQ WITH"

Magatia pq is decent. It takes about 20 minutes on average when you get good at it. The tower stage can be frustrating though. The biggest annoyance is finding a magician. Thieves aren't mandatory though if you scroll up some haste equipment.

How much speed/jump exactly? And what do the thieves have to do? Couldn't a gunslinger with wings + dash + recoil possibly get the same distance if it involves jumping a ways?

Needs max speed and 120 jump, IIRC. You're running on conveyer belts, so dash would be a bit difficult to use.

You need vertical distance too. The requirement was around 117 jump if I remember correctly, along with some speed (120+ or so).

Pirate PQ is not that bad, because: Angry Lord Pirate counts as 2 pqs, and enraged as 3 (I think). I'd set this as a backup.

Also, yeah, Ludi is filled with failure pqs.

And OPQ was good fun for me. Quite a variety. But is it true that the JAIL dcs you?

Actually hotkeying dash solves that. It isn't too hard for my outlaw to do the thief room really, recoil shot is the biggest help in there.

However, OPQ isn't really hard either. With a semi-average party you can complete it fairly quick. If anything brains play out a lot more than damage in that pq. MPQ is just annoying because at max you need 4 people, and with two of them needed to fill the requirements, you have to be very selective about parties. My biggest issue with MPQ just that if someone dc's too early it really is hard to complete the pq.

You can hotkey dash? This is news.

A gunslinger with wings/recoil maxed can do the "thief" room easily. I had a rant about this when a hermit ended the PQ because I went in the room (I had actually just gotten the required item but he wouldn't believe me).

Okay; Now I need a whole nother different opinion.

Should I keep going for the PQ Medal or no?

After trying to CPQ, I forgot how much I Pineappling hate it. All the noobs who go into your lobby, click on the assistant, go out, and then steal your room...Drives me nuts. Nobody wants to do a 2 v 2 with a level 50, anyways. It's really getting quite depressing the more and more I think about it.

I'm only certain I can get an S Rank in 2 other PQs; EFPQ and HPQ. I'm still uncertain on MagPQ since I've never done it before.

I've done both, and that pretty much sums them up =P. I have had some good experiences, and if you can get in, they're very fun. As an Outlaw, you're frequently wanted because of your ability to do the thief room, attack and protect. You have Wings+Recoil, Burst Fire and Blank Shot (Ice Splitter is viable but not recommended) at your disposal to easily do away with 3 of the 4 class specific tasks (the last being the mage room which, obviously, is for mages.)

MagPQ is easy to learn, and Slingers are quite valuable in it - blank shot's 100% 4 second stun is perfect for protecting, and high dps is good for the boss. You can fill either role, and recoil/wings is great for navigating the thief room. I say go for it, it's a bit shorter than LPQ/OPQ in most cases.

-Edit-
Ninja'd, but further evidence that MagPQ = Outlaws are pro.

Yeah. I just looked at a whole pineappling MagPQ video on Youtube. I was thinking Outlaws would be good protectors, so I'd be wanted. The only thing that turns me off from finishing this medal is the 5th PQ...I don't know what one to do.

OPQ seems like it'd be impossible to find people. Nobody wants to CPQ with 2 level 50's 2v2, and PPQ is just out of the question! 350 PQs for the dang hat; even though the req for an S Rank is 100! V_V

Wait, I though MPQ would be you 5th pq? Also OPQ with friends isn't too bad. In my server it isn't that empty.

Yeah; MagPQ would be my last PQ unless I did like, PPQ.

OPQing in Khaini though? You're in Scania (Or so your user stats says). I'd love to be in Scania for OPQ...

But I'm rethinking LPQ again. I want glasses. Bad. And while thinking about it, 3/5 of my fails for LPQ were my fault; 2 for not inviting thieves and depending on brawlers to get through the thief stage, and 1 for not inviting a mage. The other two were due to a stupid sin who 'attacked a golem', and then the 5th fail today someone was stupid and wouldn't drop 2 passes after 10 minutes.

So in all actuality, I shouldn't lead PQs anymore, as 60% of the time it's been my fault as a leader.

Maybe instead of getting a thief, you could use the Agent's Encouragement. Free speed or jump! Big Grin
