Cygnus question.
#1
Sorry if there is a thread about this. Someone please link me to it if there is, thanks!

So basically to make the character, do you talk to an NPC on your adventurer and it will make the character for you?

Does everyone start off fresh with nothing and no contact with their adventurer? So basically starting in a "New" world?

Would the MTS be usable?

Thanks very much!

As far as I know you make your Cygnus in pretty much the same way you would any char you just first select something like "make a cygnus" instead of "make an adventurer".
As for the other question I'm pretty sure item transfer via storage NPC SHOULD work, if it doesn't it's news to me.

Since parent characters no longer exist, do non Cygnus classes still get a blessing skill?

With the old system, your Cygnus gets a copy of the parent's Buddy List. It starts in the same world as your parent.

Even with the new non-parent system, you still get Blessing. The Cygnus's level of Blessing corresponds to the highest level Adventurer on that account. The highest level Adventurer gets Blessing from the Cygnus.

I don't know what happens if you have more than one Cygnus though. Is that even possible yet? :f6:

Remember, MSea got the parent version, do not assume we won't.

No, the highest character gets blessing from the 2nd highest character in the account. Any other character gets blessing from the highest character on the account.

Ex account:
15x adventurer - gets 18 blessing from the other adventurer
3x cygnus - gets 18 blessing from the other adventurer
18x adventurer - gets 15 blessing from the other adventurer

Another account:
13x adventurer - gets 12 blessing from the cygnus
120 cygnus - gets 13 blessing from the adventurer

Don't forget, Aran are in the mix with the Blessing skill too. They can benefit from either Cygnus or Adventurer, and vice versa.

That's fot the old system, which MSEA is currently using. With the new system, the class doesn't matter.

How does the blessing even work? Do you need to level the cygnus character or level your main to get it higher or both?

In the new system your highest level character gives blessing to your lower leveled chars and your 2nd highest gives blessing to the highest lvled.

In the old system im pretty sure the Cygnus and the adventurer that created it give each other blessing.

But that doesn't really answer the question... which I think was can you raise the level of blessing by leveling either char that gives it to the other?
I hope that makes sense... ;-;

A character can't give itself blessing if thats what you mean.

No we're talking about raising the lvl of blessing.
Say I have a lvl 80 char when I make my cygnus, so my cygnus's blessing is 8, but if with time I lvl up that first char to 100 or more will the cygnus's blessing stay at 8?

No, it goes up as it should. It would have 10 blessing in your example.

So each character gets the highest non-self level's blessing?
So if you had 2 lvl 200s and a 120 cygnus. Everyone would get level 20 blessing?
