Pap's Bombs do 8k damage?

I was at pap today and a random bomb exploded and dealt me 8k damage.
I always thought they did 4k...

So is this possible?
I was on a platform so no chance of been dispelled

I am pretty sure that High Bombs deal 8k.

High bombs always do 8kish (4k for Mesoguard, etc), and have for a long while.

There's your problem >_>

It's either you suffer 8k bombs from the top platforms, or suffer Pap's stunning and dispelling on the bottom floor (unless you can attack it from really far away).

hehe, thanks for the enlightening. Difficult choice there =P guess stun and dispell is better than instant death anyway =P

Since I Papped pretty recently, I've gotten about 8.2k. Highest. Just throwing this out here. :f6:

Always remember those souped up bombs on the bottom as well.
