Cygnus' HP

Just curious, do Cygnus characters get the same level up hp formula as adventurers?

Because without washing, permanently having ~3k hp at level 120 as a nightwalker or windbreaker is kinda... yeah.

That's why Cygnus weren't meant for bossing. The only way is through washing, but I'd rather spend that money on my Adventurer, since I'm more likely to go bossing on it.

Don't forget, Mark of Naricain = 300 HP, Cygnus lvl120 Medal = 200HP, so to get to 4100 HP (Papu / other bosses), you'll need about 500 more HP, that's 500/18 = 30 AP's into HP... Can't really be bothered about 30AP's, when you get 70 extra

its what i have in mind, i will just put 40 points into HP, and always use int equips, after lvl 50 i can get like 100int, then when i have spare nx, reset some points

I'm just going to make a Flame Wizard. Cygnus aren't made for 4th job bosses anyway, so there's nothing wrong with ~3k HP. But have fun trying to kill Pap on a Windbreaker or Night Walker, guys

But its kinda weird though, my level 43 windbreaker has a hp of a level 55 hunter.

An ap point's an ap point. If you want 6 levels of damage, put those 30 into your main stat.

But wow, I can't find -any- video or screenshots anywhere with a cygnus character soloing/killing bosses like pap/pianus. Not even soul/dawn warrior since it'd be interesting to watch how they handle bosses without power stance.

I have a few screenshots of pianus solos in the Boss Battles thread. It isn't too hard. I kill pianus in ~20 minutes and I only solo'd one pap which took ~41 minutes (first try, I'll get better). It isn't so bad. If I get knocked back too far I just use soul runner or I will just walk the distance (barely anything).

Hmm.. I expected a much shorter time, being a soul warrior. My 13x archmage, killed pap ~30 minutes give or take and this was back in Aug 08 so my equips weren't anything spectacular compared to today.

Reasons:
I am not in GMS (My range is ~500 less than that of the one in the chart due to our lack of attack equips)

First time, I don't know the best way to pap.

I talked a lot.

I don't go on the top platforms so I get dispelled. I think I need more HP to go up there, not sure though. And power stance wouldn't hurt, either.

I could do it better I'm sure, I just need practice.
