f3 emote

Everybody knows and loves the emote. Thing is, what is it, exactly? I've seen people use it when hitting on other Maplers, or in response to various things said to them. Is there a single unifying definition of ?

It's sarcastic but 99% of maplers don't know how to use the emotes properly so you see in all cases.

That's the thing, it's not Amherst material. I quit 8 months ago or so, but I played since Dec 06, and some of my friends played for a comparative amount, they don't know exactly what it is.

I see it as an arrogant "Yeah, I just whooped your ass" or "Yeah, my damage is teh owns" face.

I think it's also used as an "attitude" face, also unserious (but that goes with sarcasm).

I think is just a "sexy face".

Its for when you pwn or someone and want to rub it your face. (Also in the case of a scroll dropping in HHG1 and you pick it up, f3)

I see it used mostly as sarcasm and poor mans kiss. But since we are in a global community here as well as a variety of ages...13-50+ the ability to detect and understand sarcasm as such is widely varried. More so in text than emoticons but still its there.
