Can't view Youtube videos on this site
#1
Every time somebody uses the Youtube code to post a video, it doesn't appear for me. Do I have some setting turned off?

I'm using Firefox if it's a browser setting.

It's most likely a browser/user account setting, as I have never had this problem at the various computers I've been to sp.net on. Maybe you told it to block anything coming from youtube?

Ooorrrrr... you have inadequate software/hardware, but this seems highly unlikely. I think it's Flash, but don't quote me on that.

Or it's just all the idiots on this site that don't know how to use the YOUTUBE tags. Are you seeing the videos appear as "BORKED"? If so, it's not your fault, it's their stupidity.

Test:

Proper usage:

Can you see that as a video?

Retard usage:

Seeing that as BORKED?

If you really can't see even the properly done videos, I have no idea what the problem might be.

@Felix: Both appear as BORKED.

@Fiel: Flash is installed. It's needed to view Nexon's site, isn't it? I can see the site fine.

Tools >> Options >> Content >> Enable JavaScript

See if your JavaScript and Java is checked in your browser.

I don't know about you, but when I disabled them on my browser, the youtube videos still showed up, as well as actually being playable.

EDIT: FelixTM's vids finally BORKED for me. Tools >> Options... >> Main >> Manage Add-ons... >> Plugins. You're looking for something along the lines of Flash or Shockwave Flash. See if that's enabled. Then refresh.
