Wrongful bans on 20th May.

Well i had been permanently banned for no reason what so ever on 20th may. At first I was sad,but later i realized that many other players were banned on 20th May 2009 Permanently for no reason.
They all did the same thing as I did.
1.Log on.
2.Do something.
3.Log off
4.tried to log on but banned.

And these bans were completely random.
Nexon Already refused to Unban us but i Just wanted to know.

Did you have any accounts of yours perma banned for no reason? Or did one of your friends have their accounts perma banned for no reason?

Log a ticket if you did get banned. Nexon needs to know that theres something glitchy about May 20th

they can ban for stuff you did months ago.

No I haven't but it wasn't only me. A couple of people were banned also, I know only a handful of them from scania not sure about the other worlds.
But im sure its a glitch because my friend has never scammed/hacked and they banned him for no reason. It was completely out of the blue.

So maybe it's not so wrongful Not everyone has a perfect English.

harassment charges are maximum 7 days and it was specified that i was using third party/hacking programs so it wasn't because of that.

Well, hackshield has condemned some programs to hell, and trust me, you've broken way more of the ToS then you think.

Nope not really I just read the ToS lol and I didn't break anything other than the harassment of people who insult me and happend to be from israel.

Owned. Obviously you did something wrong if they told you you won't be unbanned.

This. You can't be perma banned unless you were doing something wrong and a GM personally caught you. All other autobans are never permanent. Shouldn't have done what you did man.

curryishott was banned permanently before, just for your information. The fact that he (and other people as well) were banned wrongfully wasn't admitted by NxJoeW before like 1 month or so later on. (Which was when his ban was removed)

Just to point out for those getting on their soapboxes, a guild member of mine WAS mistakenly perm-banned recently. He was ccing through WS and a GM saw him on the map at the same time as a hacker and permanently banned him. Even though you only had to check that:
1) They weren't partied
2) The vacced mobs were not going where he was
3) He cced about 2 seconds later

And he had to go through a whole lot of crap to prove his innocence and turn his banning.

well on basilmarket a person who was also banned on the 20th said that he got a reply from GM Crash that he had been "disrupting" the FM in different ways.

Anyways since I am a merchant that has to be what i got.
No personally i find acing a waste of time,I'd rather stick with an FM 13 spot.
Now for some strange reason they think I use hacks to get my spots T_T when clearly all i do is wait for an SC and get the best spot i can possibly get.

Now when i go AFK in the FreeMarket i get banned this is a load of bull crap.

I just managed to sell my for 260m and i get banned this is a punch in the nuts

The GMs aren't infallible, sometimes they click the wrong person, or ban everyone in a map...

There's always more to the story than people make it seem. If a GM reviewed your ban and denied your appeal, then you're not telling us the entire story... but why should you? You wouldn't want to implicate yourself. How do you know your ban wasn't tied to another character on your account? I would think a GM has the ability ban a character at any point, even if they were logged on another character.

At this point it's your word against theirs, but i'm sure they have the proof. So i'll take their word for it.

Or we can wait for them to post proof, lololol. I remember once some kid made a thread somewhere about how he was banned innocently, then some GM showed up and posted a video on youtube of him hacking.

For all of you saying that he must've done something wrong to get banned, I'd say stay out of the verdict on it. Just as we can say that he must've did something wrong and hasnt told the whole story, we can also say that because we dont know the whole story (least we dont know the GM side of it, which we'll probably never hear), we dont know he's absolutely guilty and wasnt just banned by mistake or for something he didnt do.

As someone above has mentioned, GM's arent perfect, they make mistakes too so why are we all so quick to jump onto this dude and say he did something wrong withou telling us? I mean, we ARE talking about nexon here, the group who just banned people who gained over x amount of exp during the bigfoot epidemic, the group who we constantly laugh at and complain about automated tickets, the company who's autoban system used to catch innocents with those said innocents able to avoid the ban by just ending maple without clicking anything, etc. Are you REALLY saying this guy is guilty of something just because Nexon deemed him so?

Really, if he was banned for making fun of israelis, then I think a large portion of maple would be banned, lol. We'd see I'd say maybe 20-30% of maple gone for one sort of racism or harassment or whatnot; No one's perfect and we all have bad days. You catch someone on a bad day and they'll say something that can get them in trouble. Simple as that.

Tl;dr~Im not saying he's guilty, Im not saying he's innocent, Im just saying that we shouldnt judge him as guilty just because Nexon has done so. Nexon isnt perfect and the fact that apparently multiple people got banned, perhaps he <might> have a claim in his "innocence".
