Inferno has always been garbage in my eyes. I wouldn't have cared if it doubled the damage Arrow Bomb did. But this...this just truly shows WHY THE HELL would you get Inferno other than REALLY liking fire or something.

Though it becomes even more pointless once you're high leveled. I only have Arrow Bomb, and I don't even have it on a key. I haven't touched it since I advanced to Bowmaster.

Inferno WAS useful until the patch, now Arrow Bomb's an all around better skill.

Time Temple is the only reason to get Inferno now, which isn't saying much.

The Arrow Bomb upgrade was just Nexon's way of admitting Inferno is retarded and they should have never made it. Should have given us a +Fire attribute buff instead.

If Inferno had an upgrade, that'd be cool. A bigger range or that burning effect like Flamethrower. Plus a base damage increase. Not that you need more points into Hawk, or lolThrust, but still. Inferno is cool. Not useful, but cool.

They should have kept the burning field effect it had before .__.

not like the Slinger's burn, but more like a lolfieldoffire type thing

Pretend it's a Strafe arrow, then multiply by 1.3.

I haven't even logged on my BM in ages. Does the impact damage on Arrow Bomb do the full 130% now? That's fucking bullshit.

Inferno > Arrow Bomb anyway, the garbage stun rate is worse than no stun at all. However, I will admit both skills suck after 3rd job >_>

I use Arrow Bomb at Squid 1 for the bottom...and it stuns pretty well to keep them in a nice dense cluster.

i.e.
130% * (100 + 140 + 100) / 100 = 130 * 3.4 = 487.5%

Inferno outdamages AB without SE, and after 4th job neither skill is useful. Arrow Bomb's stun is completely useless with Puppet.

Again, does Arrow Bomb's impact do FULL damage now, or just more than the original 50%?

Full damage. Max Inferno does 8% more average damage than Arrow Bomb. Spending 14 more skill points just to do that?

yeah... arrow bomb's NOTICEABLY stronger than max inferno right now ...

makes no sense how a second job skill is better than an "equivalent" 3rd job one...
but ohwell

guess i have to dig out my arrow bomb key and put it somewhere easily accessible...

still keeping inferno tho, for fire weak... where it's practically untouchable... except for mortal blow *and arrow blow* but those are single targets...
