They do. Like each number is assigned a certain few NPCs.
Yeah, I've never had a lot of those sometimes, but I'll update you next time I take it.

it isnt chun ji, i went to take a look and chun ji has brown hair, not black, and isnt holding the sword the same way. i think this is another maple island npc thats like... chun ji's brother.

The only downside to this is that you don't have the time to go back and forth. It's just practice and memory, really.
