I just realized something - I hate and avoid choices at all oppurtunities. I give up a lot of freedom in order to have other people decide what I do and when, where I go, etc. I am beginning to wonder if maybe I joined the Navy to avoid having to choose a college and a career, where I live, and who I live with. My work schedule is predetermined as well. Everything has an order it has to go through, very little room for decision making in the every-day routine. I don't like carrying conversations because I don't know what to talk about. I don't like driving because I don't like the responsibility that goes with it.
TLDR, coming to the realization that choices/responsibility clash harshly with my generally lackadaisical/nonsensical/spontaneous attitude/personality. I like to relax, and having to make a decision prevents me from doing that. Oh well, at least I'm not a sheeple.
Edit - this isn't a rant, so I didn't put it in PoH. More like a psychological evaluation of my inability/lack of desire to have control.
