From what im guessing, they are hoping to level the playing field with the box events. In that, anyone can really go and get a box and get an item that may either help them, or help them get the item they want. Its nice for those who have always been the underdog (me included in most areas) and bad for those that want to run everyone else to bankruptcy.

But this is really only able to work because it is a game, in real life its a horrible concept to run with (Obama......)
