Looks fun. I shall head down to Suntec that weekend and have a look. "Family gaming event" - family system, anyone? MapleStory Episode 2 must be something big as well, for them to hold a workshop just for it. I'll try to sign up for that, though it'll be really popular Rolleyes

im interested in just how much of an overhaul this "EP 2" will be. Obviously it will need to be worked out so that any future patches still work with it. I do think we will see stuff thats already going to be seen from KMS, but im wondering if they are going to adjust EXP and drop ratings like another version did (BMS i think)

I wouldnt be surprised if the patch we just got was the update they call "MapleStory Episode 2".

I cant see how they can change things to drastically.

MapleStory Episode 2 is just a major patch update. Just like Audition Season 2.

Maybe they called it 'Episode 2' because they rearrange maps, and add new lots of new features. I don't think they'll change that much.

MapleStory Episode 2 is something like what GMS get 'Version UP' Enhancement

it has to do with all those UI Updates and maybe the character creation method (MSEA has not receive much the UI Updates)

so probably MapleStory Episode 2 will have these UI Updates and probably some EXP/Spawn Rate/Map Layout changes just like THMS

and there is this poll in MSEA website asking to poll what people expect in the next patch, so any of them may accompany the anniversary and Launch of MS Epi 2 patch

also, through observation, it is obvious that THMS has progressed significantly faster after they declared the launch of MS Epi 2, so who knows what is AsiaSoft thinking

I don't exactly see the point in conducting a WORKSHOP to gain insights to MapleStory Season 2. It can very well be just a page published on the website to introduce the upgrade but a workshop...?!

It will probably just attract all the MSEA fanboys/girls I guess...

I wonder if GMS will get an episode 2. THMS, KMS, JMS, and MSSEA2 make me jealous.

That's what I will call misleading advertising.

In any case, I am looking forward to MapleStory Season 2! It's 4 years since MSEA was officially released and launching SEASON 2 is relatively strategic to attracting a larger gamer base.

As a sidenote, MSEA is also AS SEA's longest running game yet.

*ahem* Darkness and Light *ahem* epic phail *ahem*

Like the "workshop" thing I said, Season 2 is just a silly "official" name for a bunch of UI, skill and map updates. Plus Maple Anniversary and probably a new feature (Monster Book, Time Temple? Glitter), people will really be convinced it's Season 2 and not some giga patch, which it really is.
