Is there anything left to accomplish?

MapleStory's goal is to reach level 200.
It's now been achieved 64 times, and going to keep going up at a fast rate.
Do you feel there is any point in achieving level 200 now? Considering the fact that leeching is now permitted, and it costs quite a bit to afford 2x every month? In all honesty, what do you think is left to do on this game?

I would love to see someone hit 200 w/o 2x exp, and godly items is definetly a motivating factor for some.

Why does there need to be a goal? lots of things to do besides straight leveling. I don't really see a point to stress to 200. I'd be more concerned with quests, collecting items (not godly stats, just rare and unusual items like PQ passes or event equips), the Monster Book whenever it is out...

Lots of other things to do besides grinding, at least eventually. That doesn't mean Leeching should be allowed or condoned though. >_>

Levels, mesos, and items aren't everything. Look at Isaac and his 495 quests, for example.

I personally don't have any goals in Maple. But that being said I am sure there are a lot of people who want to be the highest/strongest of each respective pirate etc. That would have probably been a good pole option.

Everyone pretty much has their own goal. My goal is to reach level 14X or 15X legit and to maybe collect all the Monster Book things. Stuff like that is accomplishing to me.

But for some maybe like Avenge, their goal is to get to level 200 seeing as how there pretty damn close to it.

My goal for this game has never been to get to level 200, for my sader I really just want to get to 4th job, and maybe get to 130/140. Just enough so that I can easily fight zakum with my guild and have most of my 4th job skills.( I really just want brandish rush and ac).

Level 200 is still level 200.

After all, tons of people have beaten Call of Duty 4 on Veteran, still a hell of an accomplishment though.

Is fun a goal?
Personally I would like to have one of each type of class to 4th job.
Currently that is at 0.
But I do have 2 3rd jobs and 2 2nd jobs...
Well my CURRENT goal is to regain my hacked stuff
But after that- get a 13X priest
a 8x Dk
a 8x GS
a 8x xbow
a 8x sin
and to be able to use my 120 lunchbox on my 20x warrior
And fun.

For me, 200 never has been, and never will be my ultimate goal.

Once I get to level 120, I'm gonna step back from grinding for awhile and enjoy what the game has to offer. Things like boss runs, quests I haven't done yet (which is a lot), monster book once its released, and getting some really nice warrior equips even if I don't play a lot anymore.

I also really like to see a PQ for high level players. I really enjoy PQ's, but there aren't too many available for me anymore.

I don't really even have a goal on MS. I just play for fun, and I don't play often at that.

I amuse myself easily. I set silly goals like getting the lv 90 pirate hat, Getting 200 mushmom spores, the bait thing I just said, doing all quests...

If you don't find anything, it's that you have been playing too god damned much.

Guess you'll have to wait for me then. I haven't bought any 2x exp cards from the CS, but I'm leveling at a snail's pace compared to my friends cuz I don't train, and I die often. (I never bought a safety charm from the CS either.)

Actually, at this leveling rate, I'll reach Lv 200 in 5 years...
I hit 120 in February, I'm Lv 134 now. Do the math? LoL.

By saying "who cares if it's been done 1000 times", you're implying that it's not a huge deal. Generally people won't work that hard to be "one-among-many".

2) Be the richest in all of the land~
By saying "in all the land", you make this option sound imaginary and unrealistic, and something to be laughed at. In a sense, you're "ridiculing" it, which will make people not choose this option.

3) Godly items, must 1hko skeles at level 100!
"Must 1hko skeles at level 100" is again unrealistic, causing people not to choose this option. You make these options sound like a joke.

4) There really is nothing lol.

It's hard to say, as you would probably need to make several accounts to hold all of that meso due to the 2.1 bil meso limit for characters. Also, some people may not believe the whole "I have 2.1 bil mesos on 3 characters, but it's on different account" deal.

Especially since if you're rich and you do show off, chances are people will try to befriend you to hack your pomegranate.
