Where to begin...it started with Day XXVIII, in which I did that OTP-ish Sketch between my oc, and RD...again, that was for a friend, or moreover how I thought about what went on before they became something, really. And today, it was a redux of that. Day XXX has me using another part of their life, in which this time around, I added my own "special touch" and altered the story a bit.

The story goes it was their 10th year, and they've gotten to know each other very very well to the point where people even assumed they were something, however, of course they wren't. During homecoming of that same year, he fell sick (Don't know what.) and he wanted to tell her straight face to face. I well, started to tear slightly at this point, kinda like reading My little dashie again...nevertheless, I pulled myself together and kept on listening.

So he was sick on homecoming day, and she..well, seemed disappointed. (Honestly, I can't imagine this well.) So..the game rolled around the early evening, but however, there was one major major thing she forgot...he had the tickets. (Biggest Derp? F'uck no.)

But.

He entrusted one of his other friends, who I can name is Izen (aka. if you paid attention to some of my sketches, he does little sig on some of them.) passed on a letter for her, from her soon-to-not-be-any-longer best friend.

In the letter, in which he actually got back ages ago, the last few lines he wrote, and regardless if this isn't poetic, and this is corny, blah blah blah, who cares. This well, ...made me rethink my life as I knew it.

So the last few sentences of the letter say...

....and it doesn't matter where I am...because...
Even if, I'm away from you...
I'll always....
Be your best friend.
love you.


Now what bothered me was the strike. He didn't white it out, erase it, (it was done in pencil.) nothing. He just slashed one line through it. Inside the letter had the tickets, that letter, and a picture...just the two of them happy.

At that point I just wanted to seriously cry.

The same very night after the game, she went over to his house...now this was past midnight, so you can imagine the look on everyone's face at 1am.
She went up to his room, where he was at...closed the door behind her...
and then he just left me hanging like a Trixie.

Haha. So that was it. During the time I could have used to sleep, I was busy all night sketching. And just because I want this to be the nicest...I'm gonna be messing with everything and anything to make sure this looks the best it can be.
