There are 2 ways to interpret this because he included a video

A. "This guy" could refer to the mercedes in the video that he posted
B. "This guy" could refer to the angelic burster stating that the AB and the mercedes are the same

Due to the fact that he included the word "also" makes it option B. though. (Did not see that word but my point still stands that english language can be very ambiguous sometimes)

And if you've ever taken another language e.g. Spanish, you'd realize how ambiguous it can be. For example

English: Can I take your order?

This can refer to 1 person or multiple people.

Spanish: They have "usted" and "ustedes" to distinguish between 1 person and multiple people.

If you feel english is not an ambiguous language in some cases, then back it up instead of implying I'm an idiot and have no idea what I'm talking about.

"Order," is actually pluralized in most cases when you can tell you are talking to a group of people, as table 1 with 5 people, does not have a single order, but a group of orders.

In Spanish, I do believe they'd also use a singular for addressing an unknown amount of people. Such as at a drive-through.

The point of the damage cap?

I've never really been sure of what the purpose of the damage cap has been since its inception. I know private servers use high damage as a means of catching hackers, but this is a cap so it's not really the same. I thought about it and decided it might be for balance issues, but however much the cap is right now is pretty imbalanced in itself. Unless I am getting things wrong.

What is the point of the damage cap exactly? It just seems to gimp single hit skill utility and do nothing past that.

Not ambiguous. Though, yes, there are dangling participle and ambiguity problems in the English language. However, one must follow the natural flow of a conversation. As for what's been said here about the damage cap, It seems the damage cap wasn't a real meant to really limit damage, cap the money one should spend on this game. Why spending more than a set amount if anything beyond that wont make you any stronger?. Now with the cap gone, you can just keep spending until you go bankrupt.

But it's so annoying to have noob weak players in your party. I mean, you didn't spend a shietload on cubes yourself just to be hindered by these annoying low life players. Maplestory evolves around you, not around a community of free-loaders who just want to play a nice game... pshhhh...

They introduced this thing called "Potential" (Bonuses that gear can give.) and "Miracle Cubes" (Reset a gear's Potential, giving you new bonuses.)

Potential gear you can get for free, but Miracle Cubes need to be bought from the Cash Shop.

The idea is you buy tons of these cubes until you get the bonuses you want. (Ones that increase your main stat by a percentage, bonus damage against bosses, defense ignore, crit chance, bonus HP, etc.)

However, the damage cap is at 999999. So they needed to find a new way to get people to buy more cubes..... (And perhaps blow some money on expensive class exclusive Cash Shop gear.)

Enter Angelic Burster.
