I was not surprised since Nexon is the biggest ANet shareholder with 14.7%. and loves to promote itself any way it can. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed true?

I didn't see Nexon mentioned at any point when I signed up for GW2 or when I preordered.

I imagine if it were true, the outrage would be a lot larger than just one guy on one forum. Game's been up for the past hour or so, but people who got kicked off earlier have been having problems getting back on, so login server is probably down.

What server is the majority of people here going to be in. I don't really have many friends who are getting GW2 at release so...LF>People rofl.

I think Southperry has decided on Stormbluff Isle. Does anyone know how much the realm changes cost? I want to jump in and play, but I don't know what servers my friends are going to be on when they get around to getting the game.

Raizoo is going on Stormbuff Isle, so I decided to follow him. We're on that server I guess.

And to answer your question, free for seven days! And then after that, the price changes depending on if you're transferring into a low, medium, or high populated server ― 500, 1000 or 1800 gems respectively. There's also the guest option which isn't available right now, sadly, so just pick whichever server you like. Quite a few servers seem to be focused on WvWvW if that suits you, so just look around the gw2guilds site.

"Scaeva" on Far Shiverpeaks [EU]. Got to Lv14, then decided to call it a day. Sadly a skillpoint in Caledon Forest was bugged so I couldn't 100% complete the zone, guess I'll pick that one up later.

There's quite a few events/tasks that are bugged in Caledon Forest I've noticed/heard in Map chat.

Also, anyone else having problems with the Email Verification? The link that's given to me doesn't work, tried it several times now.

I'll start the Southperry guid as soon as the guild system works.

I'm really interested in this game. What are your guys thoughts. Is it worth it? It would require me to buy a new computer, but I have been meaning to do so anyways to play more modern games.
