Diablo3 class thread
Dark Link Wrote:Krip just did his annual A3 farm routine, albeit rather sloppy, and netted ~21mil EXP in about 50 minutes. He did the math and it came out to about 30 days from Level 1 -> Level 100 Paragon, assuming you farmed A3 Inferno for 14 hours a day.

No wonder he's so good, he's been playing the game a year longer than us.

WW/CM is noticeably more difficult for me to start up, but there's almost no affect on my efficiency in A2. I've also switched one of my slots to have Star Pact, and I was thinking of running one of the DPS Meteors, like Comet or Liquify since I used to find my Arcane pool often full, but now I'm not sure anymore.
This auction house overload is pissing me off by the way.

Also, YOU STILL CAN'T FU'CKING SEARCH SOURCES BY DAMAGE FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

I'm actually finding UPGRADES in my equips now. God damn. Plus, this pomegranate is gonna take forever to get to level 100. Took a few hours of act1/2 grinding just to get level 1.75 prestige. Oh well, it's a time sink, but a worthwhile one. It'll move along nicely as long as you put even just an hour or two in per day.

I found and sold 15m worth of stuff in the first 12 hours of the patch including a crappy legendary mojo which I sold for 2m. *_* Still has a pretty decent sword I think is worth around 20m yet to be sold.

Pretty good patch in my book. Paragon level 6 now.

I tried the new patch for about 30 minutes and lost interest. Just not excited about the idea of an extra 100 level grind.

Have you beaten inferno? I'm still on a mission to clear inferno on all 5 characters. With some of the new changes, i'm capable of pushing thru act 3 even if i die a few times. Since elites dont regen, i can just throw myself at them a couple times and at least feel like i'm still advancing.

Indeed, the Elite "Fix" is just what I needed.

I haven't really taken advantage of elites not healing anymore since I've been trying to farm instead. Unfortunately, I don't have the right weapons to succeed with a double tornado build at the moment, so I'm kinda stuck with facerolling act 1 or crawling through act 3 in tank gear. I'm hoping I can make it work with a good two hander with these recent changes, though.

Nope, I was in Act 3 Inferno before the patch. It's a lot easier now and I cleared the catapult quest yesterday, but I'm just not having fun anymore.

Finally back to playing this, got my barb through most of Act 2. Now I just need to find the sweet spot between tank and aggro builds to beat Belial before he enrages.

Oh and Rend is now awesome.

I think its more fun to play with friends. I just hardly have any that play anymore. Maybe i should suck it up and jump into some public games.

I'd play with you. Or anyone else who's in inferno, for that matter.

It appears they nerfed Evasive Fire so it can't shoot through Waller. Bolas seem okay now.

I will never get used to how pineappleing stupid targeting is in this game. The area around something that can mouse over to click them is enormous. If you're Vaulting and holding down left click, and your mouse passes over a monster while in motion, you autotarget them when you land.

Still not finding a reason to take the buffed Spirit Spenders unless I'm severely overgeared for the area. I tried running Exploding Palm - Flesh is Weak, but there's a lot of other damage buffs that you could take that don't interrupt your mantra spam. It's okay, but I had to replace Deadly Reach - Foresight, and I preferred having the 18% and range over the explosion and 12%. You need quite a bit of IAS to be able to have enough Spirit to maintain more than just your mantra. Lashing Tail Kick might be better for the stun though.

I also found my first Legendary post-patch, running no MF on my DH to test skills, and it was an Amulet. Was happy until I IDed it and saw it was Brimstone fodder.

Still waiting to get my computer back. I'm halfway through A2 on my Barb.

I was playing with two friends earlier and it felt way harder with them around, have they turned back on the damage scaling?

I also found a Legendary yesterday, The Tormentor, with somewhat good stats.

Monsters get 75% more HP for each party member.

Whereas it used to be 105% or 110% (forget which) for each party member, making it seriously harder the more people that joined. Now it should be much easier, but i have yet to try.

Zenkat#1384 if anyone still would like to add me.

It used to be 75%/90%/100%/110% for Norm/NM/Hell/Inferno or something like that. Now it's a flat 75% for all difficulties. Assuming your party focuses targets, things should go faster unless your party members are weaker than you and provide to buffs.

I decided to finally clear Inferno Diablo today. Only troubles I had was when I popped my blind on his lightning inferno for no reason and he immediately did his bone cage and ohkoed me, and then on the retry, the shadow clone used Wave of Light and my first reaction was "wow, that's a cool looking sk- OH MY GOD I NEED TO SERENI-dead".

I'm tempted to continue my Witch Doctor right now though. Left him at 40 as the friend I was co-oping with got busy with stuff. Some of the stuff looks interesting, and it feels a lot better now that things aren't slow as balls and actually do damage, but my favourite skill, Locust Swarm, wasn't buffed =[ It still feels like trash.

Wooo, found this sword today. I'll probably eventually sell the sword and my Helm of Command for big bucks, get a strong 2H with life steal and be a happy pony.

 My Sword

My current equips and build, if anyone's interested.
Bash/Punish's +24% damage boost makes for absolutely brutal Rends, the life steal is enough to keep me alive. Basic strategy is jump into a mob, Bash 3 times, Rend everything and then run around. Overpower here is rarely needed, I might even change it for a different skill later.
