Bleach Manga thread (SPOILERS)

It was anime only but to be honest was good plot development. The spirit of the swords became characters and ended up working together. If I recall they lossed their bankai and their sword's could actually use it, so if it was post cannon this would be a situation they'd be familiar with. It was probably the best bleach filler as it gave the characters more depth, without doing an episode for each one with retarded backstory

GOD DAM YAMAMOTO. About time someone did something really badass. Nice to get some backstory on the head captain and also his vice-captain. Really enjoyed this chapter.

Agreed. Really enjoyed the backstory on both captain commander and the guy we all literally didn't give a s'hit about when he died.

I know feel bad he died. He looked like an awesome character with an awesome Bankai.

Uh, I assume they live forever unless someone kills them. The 1st squad vice-captain didn't die of old age, he was impaled by a huge cross. :f6:

He wasn't talking about the Vice Captain, but rather the fact that Yamamoto clearly aged hugely. I think this is the first proof we've had that anyone actually ages in soul society.

Edit: Except I'm a real idiot and forgot that Rukia and several other characters have been shown as children. Whoops.

Plus they can clearly get sick, since Ukitake has something resembling Tuberculosis, that they haven't shown to be able to cure. They probably can get diseases that eventually kill them.

This would have been great material for the Anime's filler, too bad we will never see more than this.

The only reason to throw Kenpachi against the leader of the raid and main antagonist is if they wanna kill him off too, all more obvious after they just killed the second main face of the Gotei13 captains right before him coming out. .

I guess I was pretty close except it wont be Kenpachi that dies but Yamamoto. Then everyone will get demoralized and half of Gotei 13 will die. Some pomegranate happens for some time and in the end Kenpachi finally gets his Bankai, becomes the main character and kicks ass.

In the meantime Ichigo is still in that cage.

I can't see this ever happening since A) Kenpachi looks kind of dead and B) the Quincy can steal bankais so it would be useless anyways.

I can see Yamamoto dieing though. Maybe one day Ichigo will leave that box.

I agree. They have left Ichigo in that box for way too long now and I can't see them going straight into the Yamamoto vs. King Quincy fight because that one will probably take a bit of time.

I guess ichigo stays in the box. Also the captain is going all out. I wonder if his bankai will get stolen? Thing is he already knew about what the quincy could do before entering the fight. Maybe he is to powerful. I really really hope they animate this arc or turn it in to a movie.
