OT: i've heard a few people that can't complete the zombuddy stage of red leaf high; they either do not spawn enough, or spawn too early for the quest to register

Did they talk to the NPC? He's hidden rather well in that map, it took me a few seconds to find him.

Tell you what, since i rarely post here unless I feel I have something to contribute, and when I do you guys do not offer constructive advice instead decide to be insulting, I will save you the trouble and just not come back. No more waste of my time or yours. Keep your exclusive club.

Just give an example of the question. This place is better if you ignore the circlejerk.

You don't have to finish the quest, after killing everything in the room, just choose the Talk option and it'll let you assign Friend points and move on.

But the quest gives exp! Lol, well I don't need it though, but I ran into this bug myself. I killed the mobs before talking to the npc though, I'm only guessing that's why I couldn't complete it.

Yeah, I just got the room on my Paly, I started killing before I noticed the NPC, started the quest and finished killing and I wasn't even halfway done with the quest. Then I thought I failed, so I just left, I decided to do a second run through and even with the monsters I killed the second time around, I only got to 4/5 on some of them total from both runs, so I think you have to be extremely lucky to have all of them spawn in the quantities you need, or it's impossible to finish in one go.

After the first few you got wrong you should have realized you were doing something wrong. If you could not figure out the simple problems because you did not use order of operations, something taught in elementary school, do not claim to be able to do simple math.

The problems were setup like those troll questions you see 1+1+1+1X0=?
you would probably not take the time to look at the whole question and put 0 right? Well the answer would be 3, it just does not look like that at first glance. I tired running through, butt after the second time i messed up i realized i needed to actually used order of operations, if you did not realize after 15 tries... you must have been in a rush or not paying attention. And if you tried putting it into a calculator (like the microsoft app) some of the lower end ones dont do order of operations, the proses each part as you enter it.

But what constructive advice would you like? To me it seems there was none to give; you couldnt figure out a question and said it was bugged with out investigating further or checking if you were doing something wrong. SP is not "exclusive" (although the community does seem to be closer, im new here so i would not know as much about it). Although i would say quite a few of the people that quoted you would most likely be superior to you in Maplestory.


One a completely unrelated topic, has anyone else gotten one of those "wait 1-2mintue" quests inside RLH when they only have 1-2 minutes left? really annoying

Also, glitch for v.116 Evil Spirit Boxes from Egroth display the open by date as place holder text "TKTKTK"
Also, Egroth does not always drop the box, not sure why. Killed 2 on my DB and one on my Bucc and got the box, but i did not get a box when i killed one with my Evan

Going to say this again. In order to get a box from Ergoth, you have to be within 11 or so levels of the ergoth you are killing. If you're level 150 or above, the ergoths in road of regrets and beyond in temple of time will always drop them, up to level 200. Ergoths are not glitched.

a friend said when he tried to leave the room it would not let him, so i don't know what's wrong here, the NPC did nothing to help

After sitting down in my teddy bear bed to set up my store, this happened.

Edit2: Also happens with my HP bottle chair (which is very saddening).

forfeit the quest if it's in your log
select the "talk" option
proceed as normal

Well i was killing hilla with some friends and suddenly one guy appeared, he said he logged off and when he logged on today well, he appeared with us, another thing is the sound effect of luck of the dice is gone since i put a point on double down (on my sair) and the monkey roulette (the buff for ailments) doesn't show the animation or the animation is wrong with the actual buff.

This is a rare bug from ages ago, it's been happening on boats and the like for years.

It happened to me on my first run, too. I killed everything and tried leaving and all he said was something like "Kill all of the zombies!" or something similar to that. :|

Edit: Note, that was when I hit the talk option, not selecting the quest.

You need to grow some skin. We called you out on a "Bug" that doesn't actually exist and you get all up in arms for no reason.

does not look like 'calling him out' on a bug. it looks like a show of 'who has a bigger e-pen0r' because someone else posted something seemingly stupid.

It's possible there is no glitch with regards to the math, but I have to say, I was having trouble with it earlier too, and I'm moderately sure I did the math correctly. I was getting extremely frustrated when I went the first time because it was telling me I was wrong when I knew I wasn't. But no, go ahead, accuse me of failing basic math too. My undergraduate degree in physics and mathematics clearly did not prepare me for nexon math .

I'm actually going to back the guy up here. I had it telling me I was wrong when I had questions that required numbers that were quite large (something above 3000). But no, go ahead, accuse me of failing basic math too.

Please take a screenshot next time something like that happens.
