What I wonder is if they are tattooing on the surface of the anus or if they are tattooing on the INSIDE of the anus. Question of the day right there.

My best guess would be the place around your butthole where if you pull back your butt cheeks there's that one place where the sun don't shine that would form the perfect ring for a tattoo for you to show off. Of course this is pure speculation and I have no personal experience with any of this, so what I say isn't necessarily correct. Logically speaking, if it was in the anus, then the tattoo dude would have a ridiculously hard time trying to put the needle in there to design anything.
