Ummm just a really awkward question..
I'm a brawler and i was accused of hacking at least 3 times today because the class is able to jump and screw punch at the same time, causing graphical lag. Apparently it looks like i'm fly hacking (i don't see how, cause if i was i probably would have done a whole bunch of crap in that STD map).
My question is: How do we tell these insolent little kids who will probably falsely report you causeing you to have a false ban, that we brawlers are not fly hacking?
Thanks in advance...

It's very underrated. It's like cellions, with epic mobs. there's at LEAST 3 monsters for you to hit on any given time, with somersault kick I can easily take advantage of it.
Anyway, I still don't know where to train d:

Warriors can't take advantage of two rush skills. :/ There's a lot of decent maps for a brawler to get great exp at because of that. o.o

a. Number of blaze/glaze capsules
b. How "Use" slots should be set up on a 28 slot basis
2. For training purposes, is the only skill really needed battleship canon to effectively train get a good exp rate. This pertains only to other 4th job skills, no 3rd job skills or below
3. Will it "destroy my build" or be "heavily suggested to avoid this" if I were to max Advanced homing early by maxing it in 13x or 14x latest?
Still looking for answers on this and:
Quote:ellaneous Numbers
Standard Octopus Summoning Limit [Lvl 1-10] = 1 at a time
Standard Octopus Summoning Limit [Lvl 11-20]= 2 at a time
Standard Octopus Summoning Limit [Lvl 21-30] = 2 at a time
Support Octopus Summoning Limit [Lvl 1+] = 3 at a time
I have level 30 and I can summon 3 at a time [3rd job], even though it doesn't last that long [them all being at same time]. Unless I'm mistaken, it should work much like Gaviota where you can summon 1 after every cooldown [10 seconds for octopus] and it will last X seconds. Therefore
You summon 1 at T= 0
Summon #2 at T=10
Summon #3 at T=20
Summon #4 at T=30, #1 disappears
That's how it works or should i think but i definently know I can't have 3 octos out at once for 10 seconds, more like 3~ seconds max and it doesn't happen all the time.

- 2 or 3 max. The frequency and speed of the skill will not suck up capsules as fast as your regular bullets.
b. How "Use" slots should be set up on a 28 slot basis
It depends on what level you are. The higher level you are, the less slots you will need for bullets. How many sets you have depend on your training pattern and length.
Answer in bold. I'm not going to answer your 4th job questions as my gunslinger isn't up there yet in JMS.

trojans, secret factory or w/e, exp is decent during 2exp
usefulness wares out after lv 43, 36 ~ 40% an hour

Does the idea of training at Typhons for Outlaws seem reasonable to anyone else? I'm thinking Fire Burner+Invis alternating would be a very good way to rack up damage there. It's very good exp for other mob classes, and I think it would allow a Burst Fire > Fire Burner > Ice Splitter > Octopus build to work very nicely.
I'm going to be hitting 3rd job later this week, so it's decision-making time.

Invis has minimum range, and both of them hit in only one direction, not to mention neither of them comes close to the damage output of 'other mob classes'.
If you're going to mob anywhere with Burner, go to Himes.

Oh right, I forgot that Invis had a minimum range when I was considering that Burner didn't. Well, Ice doesn't work on Typhons

A lot of ranged people train on Windraiders in their 60s. Are they recommended for gunslingers too?

^Was roughly 20%~/hr in high 7x. x1 also.
Pretty much all gunslinger areas are the same as archers/sins. Newties are nice with good octo and gaviota.

I have seen what you are talking about. I saw it a lot in CPQ in Demothos. Brawlers using those moves would look very jittery. They would move across the screen quite unnaturally moving up and down. There isnt really anything you can do about it. I am sure as time pases more people will become aware of it. But there are always noobs who accuse you of hacking because they havent seen this and that move before.

Not true at all in 2nd job. Double Shot is painfully weak and you have to chain in Recoil to get good DPS. You have to train in places where you can constantly get 2-3 targets to get good exp, while archers and sins can deal with places like FoG, with large, single targets.

FoG is single target? Are we talking the same map here?

3 questions:
1. How many times can you use energy blast when your energy gauge is full?
2. I hear people say that 4x-early 5x brawlers should be training on golems, but which map?
3. Are truckers good experince for late 4x brawlers?

I don't know for 1, but here's the others.
2) Goldems at early 5x? That's a bit of a stretch, but okay if you're funded. The best map is FoG. (Forest of Golem).
3) Truckers are okay, but I liked STDs better. Truckers are harder to kill but have better mobs.

Trucks were good for me during 2x 0_o got like 30-40% an hour.
Only problem is the severe pot burn. I go through them like water.
And Golems at late 4x early 5x if funded is reasonable. otherwise not so great money wise and or experience wise (depends on accuracy obviously and equips.)

1. i dont' know, i'm not a brawler myself
2. i was a warrior, so for brawlers, i'd expect it to be easier to train on golems and earlier too. either FoG or the mini-dungeon, but after the event's over. right now, FoG.
3. Yes, truckers are great exp for anybody, specially Brawlers, as they can easily mob them.
