Beggars

You can't be going around giving mesos to everyone. Eventually you'll run out of mesos to give. I just cancel the trade and/or ignore them.

Considering how easy it is to make mesos, it doesn't really affect me. I usually give 500k - 1mil if the person asks properly and nicely. I can make that much just doing Monster Park a few of times and NPCing the equips.

It's not that hard to make money for pots in this game :p. When someone asks me I always ignore it because they seriously just need to learn how to make money on their own if they are reduced to begging for small amounts like that.

When I see random noobs training in on my way to leafre or something though I always give them a mil or two if they don't ask.

Fake afk obviously. Unless the person types out an intelligent way of asking and looks like they genuinely do need some guidance. I give them 1m if so.

I give people 20-50m if they trade me and request.

Ignore them or give them a witty response. I have never encountered a beggar who asked me nicely for money.

I've met higher leveled beggars.

I usually give them random equips i have on various mules that for some reason I hang onto. I rarely npc them. I tell them I have no clue how much the stuff is worth and to try to learn how to merch, worse case they can NPC them. I do this a few times a week giving each 8-10 items to work with.

I give them nothing because most of the time im in a training map when they beg me and they are not looting.

Beggars are the strays of society.

Never pay them any attention.

Of course you can...with NX! Pet, magic scales, and autopot.

Or do what my paladin friend did. AFK'ed with it on during 2x at blood reindeers and come back with 2000 spears in his Inventory.

I don't even understand why you need mesos before fourth job. Alchemy gets you your potions and fusing to cube, if you're really desperate for money make a smith and a crafter and create and fuse until you get equips. At this point you only need money for skillbooks and scrolls.

Potions? Just get a Jr. Boogie familiar.

• didn't know/understand what "KPQ", "LPQ", "Ludibrium PQ", etc. were
  
• didn't understand how I knew where the Mystic Gates were
  
• ... AND MUCH MORE!

If someone asks in allchat or possibly whisper, I'll probably try to help them out. If they go out of their way to trade me, I'll likely cancel without a word.

I gave away 10-20k easily if they beg for mesos. If they spelled literately, up to 50-100k. Now if they are an absurdly high level, I stared at them and just leave.

I expect we're going to be meeting more and more of those, as people try out this new game that popped up in their Steam menu, without even a friend to guide them through. The tutorials are fine as far as they go, but it's still a big and bewildering game.

I have no trouble helping people who ask for information, at least as long as they appear to be able to read English.
But those who ask for meso, or for "help leveling", I ignore.
