Okay so, all we're doing in the Currently Airing Anime thread is talking about Chaos;Head . It's a great anime, but it's an even greater visual Novel.
A question I have

I don't understand why Rimi still wanted to kill Taku after the battle. I know the reason she didn't want him to awaken was because it would take away from Shogun's life, but since Shogun was already going to die/was dead, I don't see any reason for her still killing Taku.
From what I understand, she killed him because he still wanted to die. Throughout the ending, he kept stating that he would be better of dead, and wanted to disappear after doing the one thing he could for the girl he loved. Thus, she killed him at the end, granting his delusion.
the only time takumi was begging for death was when shogun had driven him to his limit. After shogun told him that it was only to awaken him, he stopped begging for death. The only time after that was during his fight with norose when he was being torchered.
I'm glad you removed all the links. Keep that kind of stuff off this site.
I already drained most of my discussion in the other thread. ;_; Lol But I guess if anyone has any questions, I'd be glad to answer them. Through reading it several times and chatting with others, I've developed a pretty thorough understanding of the story.

Just curious, how long does it usually take to get through the game?
it took me at LEAST 15 hours, and I read through it pretty fast because I wanted to see the end. I didn't read through so fast that I didn't understand what was going on though.
It took me about 22 hours. I was glad that it wasn't that graphic after all in terms of actual CG's, although it did provide some pretty intense images in your head. There are definitely spots that I want to see animated.

My favorite part was when Taku finally got the sword since the music and everything made it so awesome, but the most intriguing part, that made me unable to stop, was when Sena's mother ate her baby. I was like holy sh--. I'm disappointed that Taku had a easier time dealing with Suwa than the Seira's. I understand that he felt she's been his only ally since forever but still.. It's amazing how Shogun looks so much less creepy and more noble once you find out his true intentions. I wonder why he has/picked that name (which I can't remember right now) from the haunted hospital story and the other patient. Ayase's smile is creepy and cute at the same time.
I had a bunch of questions but I can't quite remember them all. But here are some:
1. Why did Suwa and Hazuki do the things they did? Were they simply corrupted by the Church, or Noah II's power? Or were their nature like that. I still can't believe Hazuki was Grim though. Where did she find the time to play Ensue with Taku?
2. So what happened to Takumi's parents? And where do they actually live?
3. Who was the original Rimi?
1: Suwa and Hazuki were members of the Church, and porters, giving them the ability to use Noah II's power. If I recall correctly, Takumi, or was it Shogun? explicitly stated that Suwa was being corrupted from having too much power.
2: Probably with where Nanami really lives.
3: Rimi is a self-made delusionary existance. That's why she can relate to Taku so well. Rimi was imprisoned by N.O.Z.O.M.I. for as long as she knows, constantly tortured so she could awaken and they could take her 'CODE' sample. She couldn't take it and made the delusion of suicide, killing off her personality, and a new one was reborn to take its place. This cycle continued on constantly until the original Takumi saved her by showing her the sky and giving her a reason to live. (Coincidentally when she awoke and wasn't needed to be tortured any longer, I believe) This part of the story was explained with the spotlight. Where the spotlight shone showed Rimi and Rimi alone, but outside of it was a mountain of corpses of the past her, and nothing else in the world.

Double post, whatever.
AA end is infinitely better and makes much more sense than A end.
I either found a glitch or lost though.

Neutral playthrough. Roof scene, after being questioned about seeing the sword (Y/N), it all seems to lead to me being pushed off and then being told to take the sword. Seira tells me not to, ends with "You don't want to die, right-o?" delusion, where it boots to the Title page regardless. I guess there's a bug in it.
