Not like it was absolutely necessary. Outside of Garen and Irelia (which wouldn't be killed fast anyways), none of the team has enough MR to justify one.


Stunbot Annie wheeeeee. Was actually a really fun Dominion game that, I felt, really captured the essence of what Dominion is supposed to be: capping and holding with skirmishes over the held points rather than running through the jungle. It looked like they would win at first too because they did the whole "pineapple the 4top1bot meta" and sent 3 and 2 and fortunately we reacted in time to save it. I basically just ran around in bot holding my stuns and dropping them on people (hence why I'm geared more towards survivability rather than flat-out damage).

The end score, since I cut it off, was 67-0. It really went back and forth throughout the entire match. We could've had a more decisive win, however, if Darius and Xin hadn't moseyed around in the jungle as much as they did though.

Reddit's Summoner School Saturday Night Scrims (SNS) tournament team The Magic School Bus was looking for a sub at 1400 elo or less (teams must be 1200 elo average) for their mid, so I volunteered.

Even though I wasn't impressed with their individual skills overall... Oh man, the plays xD Serious business.

Kat has Abyssal Scepter and scaling MR, which totals 109.5 MR at 18. It was worth getting.

Keywords being "absolutely necessary." Of course a Void Staff is a good buy if there's a fair amount of MR, but in that scenario, going for the "omq most damage (at least on paper)" build, I probably wouldn't have gotten it since Zyra's targets are the squishy two, and not the bulkier ones.

Draven is a monster in lane. I think lategame he comes at #3 in terms of dps (with vayne being #1)

Lol, at 25 minutes I had TWO rods. TWO. I don't even know how I got so fed.

Had to be a tad bit careful with selecting the time to go in and ulting someone due to enemy team comp. Otherwise, having WotA on hand helped me survive quite a few fights.

It can't carry me out of elo hell. Granted I don't play the ones that can have the biggest impact on the game since I still have to work on them.

- Soraka: Can't carry a bad team
- Sona: Can sort of carry but more often than not I burn too much mana on heal keeping my dumb ADC alive
- Leona: Only works with some champs, requires ADC to know leona's mechanics and when to go in and not go in
- Taric: Don't own him
- Blitzcrank: Don't own him but can make easy laning phase if you can land hooks
- Lulu: Don't own her
- Janna: Can't carry a bad team. Best she can do is deny enemy team during fights with her massive CC
- Alistar: The only support i think that truly can have a huge impact on the game from the support role

That's my opinion on 900-1300 elo range.

I would suggest watching nhat nguyen or spellsy stream support games if you are truly interested in finding out how supports carry games.

I got my gunblade triforce and guardian angel at 30 minutes with Jax. I think you might have outdone me though. :X
Been playing Jax and stomping hard most of today. I found out that I actually really like Jax again playing Dominion.

My win-rate is positive with them, just they have little impact if a team is dumb. A heal + silence + ult isn't gonna do much if they all focus the tank or they fed the other lanes hard.

Or when I ward, call pings for enemy jungle ganks, and they don't leave and peach when they die.
