Going to see TDKR with friends tonight. KMS had better have a 125 MB patch tonight while I'm gone or I will be pissed.

That half of the posts in this thread talk about getting drunk makes me wonder about the future of humanity.

Oh god am I gonna get bashed for saying that.

Uneventful. Played around with Flash, Fruity Loops, and After Effects for a simple project, but my inadequacy complex is preventing me from getting anything done without mulling over it...

Just seriously wow this day I cannot believe. I started my fall count, under the assumption my mentor had everything under control before the shift. APPARENTLY NOT, I lack 102 pieces in fall production. I've got 60 on hand, should have 162, and at the end of the week I need to have 185. What the pineapple I am so fucking screwed.

Sardines Wrote:@Baklava: Are those general education requirements?
Yes and no.

It is a general education class, but 30 other classes work towards it also. Thought this class would be fun, now I'm learning that the professor is tough and there's a lot of material to cover.

Then there's my OTHER class, Oceanography, which isn't what I expected either.

Late as pineapple but whatever.

Need to stop worrying and just face it. Not gonna get anywhere if I'm scared like a platypus pineapple.

Arguable. It's not drinking that should be scrutinized, but why people drink. And most of the reasons why people drink, I find to be forgivable.

Someone defaced my class, the juniors, and the senior's murals...So now like what almost everyone does...Blame the freshmen. (Because they're mural is untouched.) The upperclassmen already fixed their murals, and made it actually better. HOWEVER, ours are still messy and heck. And it's the Council who cleans it up. I honestly hate my Class Council, because they're a bunch of idiots. The lot of them. Whoever voted for them two years ago should go burn to freaking hell, because they're insecure, hypocritical, lazy-half-arsing idiots.

It may be forgivable, of course I'm not blaming the people for drinking. But it still doesn't explain to me why alcoholic behaviour is encouraged in society. I guess it's because I never saw the appeal in getting sick, saying idiotic things, doing stuff that you might regret and not remembering a damn thing on the next morning. Encouraging drinking is like encouraging people to become stupider.

But drinking isn't always like that and drinking isn't encouraged if you can't wake up and put in your 40 hours. If you make it late to work after being irresponsible, then you're trash. But if you're able to do things responsibly and sensibly at work then after work shenanigans are negligible so long as they don't detract from personal responsibilities.

Hence why I specified "getting drunk" and not just drinking. I, myself, drink from time to time but the handful of times that I got drunk, I regreted it.

True story. I've never gotten drunk before. When I drink something with high proof I just get incredibly sleepy and end up retiring to the Bat Cave.
