This happened I think 2 days ago, but I something reminded me of it. And so here it is.

Quote:My dad: What classes are you taking?
Me: Um, European literature, Japanese hist--
My dad: European literature, isn't that really hard?
Me: No...
Me, in head: I'VE MADE A HUUUGE MISTAKE, WHY DID I TAKE THIS.

Got my hair redone today. Platinum blonde and pretty short (shorter in the back than the front)

Something like this

Love it. I was originally intending to go shorter but then I realized I'd actually look like a lesbian so... decided against it.

Think Bugs Bunny.
Speaking of balloons, I actually got the code.
...Anyways,
I finally changed my period roster for school today...and I gotta say, they couldn't get it right the first time?

Intern lunch with Time Inc. CEO Laura Lang. Amazing woman with lots to say in only 30 minutes, but I wish she would have spoken a bit more specifically. Gave some run-of-the-mill inspirational/journalistic career advice that was nice, but all things we had heard before - like last Wednesday, from Ariel Foxman. It would have been nice to hear her speak a bit more personally, but I guess that's what you get when she's answering questions, not lecturing for 90 minutes.

....mfw I realized I had that hairstyle. Oh well, I loved it.

Met with my favorite high school teacher for some coffee today! Informed her of sooooo many things. I feel like I mentioned my fraternity a little too much though hahaha.

All these fraternity dreams are starting to get annoying. But I like them because I'm always supported and loved with these dreams.

However....every time I dream about my parents, I'm always fighting with them and always yelling at them. Just woke up from fist fighting my dad and shoving both of them to the ground and running away. My fraternity brothers found me in a restaurant and sat by my side the entire time.

What the hell does it all mean? ._.

As in Time magazine? I love that publication! Big Grin

As for now, I am working on summarizing the research I did in college with yeast protein kinases and galactose repressors for my personal statement.

A few little updates so here goes.

Yesterday: Went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, with Andy and friends. Had a super great time, though I am the only thrill seeker and person of that group that actually enjoys intense roller coasters. I got super sun burnt even though I applied sunscreen, and wow it hurts now. Had a great time, glad I went. Nice to get away with Andy before he leaves. Also, it was fun to watch peoples reactions as we walked around holding hands.

Today: Woke up at 5AM to drive straight from San Antonio to Michaels! Worked truck with my intense sunburn and just tried not to fall asleep on break.

Yeah I work 3 floors above TIME's headquarter floor. I've ride the elevator with their editors all the time.

Hope the summarizing is going well!
