1 Point in Lightning Edge more important than 1 point in Hero's Will?

I've been looking at some Mercedes guides and I had a look at the suggested skill builds of each of them.

All of them suggested to max Lightning Edge, and leave Hero's Will at lvl 4.

However, I think that 1 minute's cooldown of Hero's Will can be a life saver during boss fights and is more important than just 5% of extra damage in Lightning Edge. Is there a good reason to max Lightning Edge over Hero's Will? Thanks

Lightning Edge isn't that important..
Though..
+1 SP for Leafre Set [gMS/jMS only]
+2 SP for Empress Set
+1 SP for Decent CO
+1/2/3 SP for Hat potential
+2 SP from CO.

It's pretty easy to get that 1 SP.

Lightning edge is a piece of crap. Max EVERYTHING else first.

'cause I made it 7 months ago.

Leave Hero's Will at 4, you're going to be using that Leafre set for a long time.

Is Leafre set really that good for Mercs? Because Mercs already have so much PDR.

I think the 30% PDR on Leafre set is rather wasted because Mercs already have so much PDR

Its the best option no matter what job you are playing unless you already have 100% ignore defense and dont need 1+ all skill levels.

No what he means is, the Leafre Codex set adds +1 to all skills that haven't been maxed yet, so if you have Hero's Will at 4, it will be at 5 with the Leafre set.
