There's also a Mob Gauge (that shows in the top of the screen, like Zakum) for Magnus. Why would that be there if he didn't have HP? I think his HP is server sided because they wanted to bypass the 32-bit integer wall.

Imagination time now. It could be something like several zones to control. If your team has over 1/2 or 2/3 of them under your control, his HP starts draining. The more points you control, the faster it drains. If you are below the threshold, then he starts healing again. That would make use of an HP Guage. It would be extremely interesting if the threshold to drain his HP required more zones to be held simultaneously than the player limit on the map/fight.

Yes, increasing health will work, that always works. Look at Chaos Pink Bean. 61b HP! Then look at Empress, with only 2.1b HP. Weak pomegranate right there, I tell you.
Seriously, Empress was the best-designed boss so far. If Kaiser doesn't take several months to defeat, it's an abject failure IMO. There's even a financial incentive to making a nigh-impossible boss for Nexon Korea. You have more people buying Nx to get incredible gear because they think that will help them beat the boss. Then you either fix the boss or release something new that requires even more Nx that you can't beat the boss without (new potential tier, more potential lines, new scrolls that are really risky and need shielding wards, etc).

and magnus drop level 150 gear..... that would mean he too would have like empress power that constant heal himself
his hp would be like 2x more hp than empess would i believe to be like 80b hp

"Bugged" Empress has ~31.5b HP, I have no idea about her HP when "fixed" as I don't know how many times she needs to "Heal" to be killable, if even.

I would expect Magnus to have triple+ her "Fixed" HP, unless they make Magnus become "Unkillable" similar to how Empress was, before the fix.

Fixed empress has 35 heals in KMS.
