[Cartoon] Gravity Falls

Looks dumb like MLP and Adventure time

Just watched the 1st 2 episodes. This will cure my boredom..temporarily.

This show and Phineas and Ferb are honestly the only good shows on Disney channel now.

o.O I haven't watched a Disney show in probably...8 years? The art style looks similar to past cartoon network shows from what I can see.

The one cartoon network show that came to mind for me was Regular Show.

 Episode 7

The whole clone betrayal thing was kinda obvious from the start, but I'm glad Dipper & Tyrone became friends again after they realize their objectives with Wendy are screwed, so the ending was alright. The Mabel sub-plot felt a bit too short to think about it really. So the popular girl won the contest, whoop-dee-do, but at least Mabel made new friends, which is what she wanted.

Two things bother me, where was Dipper Clones #3 & 4 when they stole Robbie's bike? I'll assumed they were beaten up by Robbie I supposed. And what happened to the magic copier? Abandoned? Never mentioned again?

Episode 8 is already out on Disney On-Demand.

I found out that one of the artists for this show worked on many different cartoons that resemble this show.

Phil Rynda was the former lead character designer and prop designer for Adventure Time during its first two seasons and part of season three. He previously worked as a designer on numerous Cartoon Network series including [I]The Venture Brothers, [I]The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and [I]Chowder.

Gravity Falls comes in second for their best show though.

P.s., in hindsight the starry eyed icon reminds me of being 'moon blinked' ... Guardian or Pure One? I'm not sure on my part

 Episode 8

A solid episode, providing everything you want from Gravity Falls, funny and mysterious. The government's so malicious that they have to trap two children in Washington to hide the truth from Gravity Falls' past. Then again, if we have Trembley as our president, the whole country will be DOOMED(er). Nice to see Gideon made an appearance being casual and happy again (not friendly to Stan, of course). And Pacifica shows up again, serving as a test for Mabel to step up her game (I could never take Mabel serious ever with her acting goofy).

I don't know why Dipper would hand Pacifica the documents, the proof of the real president & the truth about her real father. Knowing her selfish personality, she would rip the paper to shreds and never spoke of this to anyone.

Next episode has that bald guy which I seen him a few times over the past episodes hiding out. This might be the biggest mystery yet.
