Higher chance of getting primary line potentials on secondary lines.
Ex. Getting 12% stat on a 3rd line of a legendary item.

When you cube a high tier item like an Empress Armor assuming you got 3 lines; you can get
12% Str (the highest)
9% Str
6% Str

However with a Enlightenment Cube the chances of hitting that high 12% is increased, to something like this
12% Str
12% Str
12% Str

You can get 12% stat (primary) on the second or third lines with any cube. The rate is just ridiculously low.
Enlightening cubes actually have a good chance of that happening.

When you cube a high tier item like an Empress Armor assuming you got 3 lines; you can get

1) That was never proven to have been done with enlightening.
2) Enlightening cubes reduce the chances to get s'hitty lines. (% chance to ignore damage/restore HP/MP etc etc)

After mine and [MENTION=8017]CrazyForDex[/MENTION];'s experience, i think they deliberately lower the effectiveness of the seeds by ridiculous amounts to compensate for them "losing" so much potential profit from the sale.

Revolutionary cube sale was the first 40% off sale they did.

They can lower the rates of upgrading ranks but they probably can't lower the rates of getting a primary stat.

If your stuff is already legendary, I'd jump on this sale.

I refuse to buy cube sales like this without having waited at least 23 hours after purchase of the cubes.

This raises another question:
If I had regular-priced cubes left over and decided to use them during or shortly after the sale, would they have regular chances of upgrading or the reduced chances of upgrading? Or in other words, do the sale-priced cubes have their own upgrade-chance numbers, or is the chance reduced for that type of cubes (sale priced or not) during the sale and possibly after until latest possible expiry date.
If the latter case is true, one should not attempt upgrades until a full day has passed after a one-day lifetime cube sale, and a full week after a 30% off, 7-day cubes sale.

Anyway, if the upgrade chance is set to be more or less proportional to sale price, and you are trying to up-rank, there is no point in taking advantage of these sales.

No one knows for sure, but i doubt anyone saves their sale cubes for the entire length of their time stamp before using them. I severely doubt seeds are set by the appeal of the item rather than a controlled but still enough to be random seed generator.

Or it could just be paranoia. The seed theory is the hands down best one there is though so i don't think it's bad to invest too heavily on it's logic.

If they put some really worthwhile items on sale when maplepoints have been frozen until 8/31... Then that's dirty Nexon D:
