JMS v301 - Hayato

I hope other Maple versions makes another exclusive job that makes sense.
jMS has their setting around the Sengoku era, cMS/twMS has it around the Chinese Kingdom, gMS has theirs around the wild west and their love for aliens.

I think, with my limited knowledge, I have come up with a decent 1st job build :

Level 10 : +1 Triple Slash
Level 11 : +3 Battoujutsu
Level 12 : +3 Battoujutsu
Level 13 : +3 Battoujutsu
Level 14 : +3 Battoujutsu
Level 15 : +3 Battoujutsu
Level 16 : +3 Battoujutsu
Level 17 : +2 Battoujutsu (MAX), +1 Triple Slash
Level 18 : +3 Triple Slash
Level 19 : +3 Triple Slash
Level 20 : +3 Triple Slash
Level 21 : +3 Triple Slash
Level 22 : +3 Triple Slash
Level 23 : +3 Triple Slash (MAX)
Level 24 : +3 Way of the Swordman
Level 25 : +3 Way of the Swordman
Level 26 : +3 Way of the Swordman
Level 27 : +1 Way of the Swordman (MAX), +2 Continuous Blade Slash
Level 28 : +3 Continuous Blade Slash
Level 29 : +3 Continuous Blade Slash
Level 30 : +3 Continuous Blade Slash (11)

Not sure what to do with 2nd job yet.

Annnnnndddd JMS is still king in the "exclusive" department- they were before Big Bang, and still are after. I mean, their Maple warrior animation is AWESOME an they even developed a new type of weapon for the whole class. I mean seriously. Why doesn't any other version of MS get something this amazingly original (well compared to everything GMS has gotten in recent patches, this is completely original).

Ummmmmm... I sure hope Hayato has a pre-built-in mastery... 'cause he has none.

Isn't this developed in Korea anyways? They've simply decided to allocate more resources and "exclusives" to Japan, which makes perfect sense, seeing as that territory is twice as profitable as the Americas*. No surprise here.

That being said, keep in mind that this year GMS got the NLC "expansion" and Jett. While they aren't very original nor terribly interesting, a good sum of money has been poured into here. Not to mention a lot of work done on the back-end, what with server merges and overall stronger attention to game stability, bug fixes, and such in the past several months. That's all in addition to the constantly accelerating pace of KMS >> GMS porting schedule. I'd say it's been pretty damn fair.

However, we also have to take into account how bad the NLC revamp was done. CMS did it better than GMS, and they also got Dragon Warrior. We pretty much got the worst outcome so far.

You know its sad when the last GOOD "exclusive" content we got was a god dam event.(but that event was awesome)

Okay. I don't even have to play it. This class is definitely my new main.

Let's not even discuss CMS. CMS should be getting 12 new classes per year at the rate of growth they're experiencing. That service is a cash COW.

Isn't GMS, like 5th place in making profit among the other servers last year?

Please tell me their gameplay is somewhat like Aran or Demon Slayer.

Judging by the skill data, likely not. They have too many skills that work in conjunction with each other and just too many attacking skills in general to be like Aran. I'm doubtful it'll have continuous attacking through the basic attack key, but we'll see.

Depends how you look at it, I suppose. If you bunch "Others", then it's 4th. But quite frankly, I doubt Europe or MSEA make more, so it's probably 4th in any case. Not to mention that Q1 2012 wasn't a typical operating quarter anyways, what with the outages in January which you could say were extraordinary items. So yeah, North America is 4th, behind China, Korea, and Japan.

There is no way on earth that ems is making more money than gms, even if you make an argument against euros having higher value than dollars its still not gonna be enough. EMS is dying and I bet it will close soon if the random database hacking there doesnt stop (just like mabogi or w/e its called).

Aren't most of these things they should have always done?

The chinese version of MapleStory isn't as much of a cash cow as you seem to imply.
MapleStory there is not as popular as it is in Japan, US, or Korea. The only reason they're making so much money there is DFO.

Everything's made in Korea they just ship it to other countries and call it exclusive for a while.

Aircalibur421 Wrote:Because it's an actual thought out class, and not a Corsair reskin. It has skills that in no way exactly mimic another class. This feels more like an actual Maplestory class, not something thrown together under the pretense of 'exclusive'. They took time, made an original class that fits in with JMS and the region that hosts it. Hell, they made two.

You don't see America getting some kind of... what would be unique for GMS anyway?

Oh right. Aliens.

Well, there's the FBI and CIA, the army-related stuff, American Revolution, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (lol), etc.
Maybe we can have an actor class with all the Hollywood stuff but...

... I have no freakin' clue.
