Lozmaster Wrote:77 songs. Thats how many are included in the game without any DLC. That is more songs than any other rhythm game I've played had included prior to DLC. They could absolutely have released the game without ever having any DLC and whats included would easily be considered a full game.
Plenty of games rip stuff out for use as DLC and leave you with something that feels half finished, but this isn't one of them.
It has nothing to do with the game:dlc content numbers. It's the price. Game costs $40, DLC, in the end, will cost $40. And considering that's only for 20 more songs, that's pretty offensive.

The DLC is $0.99 per song, and there are around 53 DLC songs in the Japanese edition, which I assume will all go worldwide. So it's $53 for 53 more songs, not $40 for 20.
Just buy the game and don't get any of the DLC. I'm not going to buy any of it unless one of the songs sounds really great (Which seems unlikely if they're all of the calibur of the 12 that are out so far, they're not bad, but not £0.90 good), partially because DLC songs don't show up in the chaos shrine mode, which is where I'm doing most of my playing.

This is really annoying but I actually think I'm going to buy a 3DS but should I wait and get the 3DS XL? Is it just offering a bigger screen? Would it even be worth it? What games are must haves too?

There are really no "must-have"'s yet. There are a few good games (Resident Evil: Revelations is the only one I can personally vouch for, besides the Tales of the Abyss port if you've never played it because TotA is fantastic)
I would recommend waiting for the XL since it is now confirmed that it will also get a circle pad pro to fit and that pomegranate makes playing games infinitely more comfortable, even if you're not actually using it to play games. Only downside to the XL (+CPP XL) is that it will be too big to pocket unless you're wearing those massive baggy jeans from the '90s.

I wish there was just some incentive to wait another month, I really want to play LoZ and TotA along with a few others but we'll see

Decided to look up the worlds last night and there are literally only 4 Disney worlds. Kind of bummed about that.

Got KH3D a few days early on wednesday, and I've played 34 hours so far. Trying not to be a super crazy completionist because I'm going to do Critical mode right after my first playthrough (and you can only send over Dream Eaters to a new save, and they get reset to level 1). Most areas are very big with lots of treasure chests. Flick Rush (a minigame played in Traverse Town District 4) is a lot of fun (and it gives a nice Keyblade if you beat all cups). Getting Link Points for your Dream Eaters (to unlock abilities) is kind of tedious though, but not required to complete the game. There is also nice variety of commands, and there's a nice progression in Action Commands (you get 1 or 2 upgrades every world), so the battles are very nice too. I think it's a very good game.

Omgomgomgomg like 8 days and 7 hrs to go for the NA release...so getting it on that exact day..and happy that I pre-ordered it. GS only has like 3-4 copies that arent on pre-order when they are newly released.. Which tbh think is a stupid idea, but its up to the distributors according to them.
CANT WAIT TO PLAY !!!!! -fangirl scream-

Finished Proud mode at 41 hours (did some grinding) currently farming (secret) portals to make all Dream Eaters so I won't have to bother with that on my Critical mode file, but it's taking forever since I'd like to have A or S rank Dream Eaters which cost more materials. Not going to bother with any other completion though, since it'll all be lost anyway.

My current progress: All worlds completed on standard mode except for the final boss which i'm currently attempting with Riku.
The game wasn't difficult at all until the last world, and then suddenly every attack is taking a quarter of my life bar. The last boss has way too many hax abilities that are either really really hard to dodge or blockable if you really time it correctly (and even then, the ones you missed will circle around and hit you in the back). I've nearly defeated him quite a few times now, but i guess i need to grind some more. I'm still using the dream eaters i've been using since the start, for shame. I unlocked Lord Kyoo and the recipe for Tyranto Rex, so i'll work on making those.
Flick Rush was fun until i got to the later tournaments, where the enemy uses a Star-level card on nearly every turn and seems to pull numbers out of it's arse. (like switching from a 16-level defense into a 17 level attack in the middle of an action, which obviously, i can't do)
I forgot how frustrating these games can be.

While I wouldn't be surprised if the news is that they're cancelling MH in the west, let's hope it's something decent.
I guess my hope for Tri G isn't gone just yet, then.

I don't know how you jumped to the conclusion that they're cancelling it. A representative wouldn't be allowed to speak until an official statement were ready if that were the case and this has been ongoing for a year now, with lots of wink emoticons.
One or both are coming for the 3DS.

Pessimism combined with a running joke I have with my friends. Just ignore it.
