New(old?) packet edit killing players

Starting during the 2x, people have been going around the Henesys maps in Windia killing players by summoning familiars. I don't know how this happens, but I'm pretty sure dying this way doesn't cause the exp loss by a normal death. Has this happened in any other servers?

My brother and I were killed in the Pink Zakum lobby and couldnt rejoin. I didnt notice if i lost exp, all i cared in that moment were my renegade coins u.u
This happened during today's last raid

I noticed random deaths & random monster sack summoning around Henesys when I was looking for a Bishop to steal skills from.

Why would we give extra P-Zak runs for you who "supposedly" died during the raid? Hohoho... heres 1k maple points just in case.

Its not Familairs. Its a hack that people are using that uses the skill that Empress Cygnus uses to turn a player into a bomb that explodes and does a ton of damage to surrounding players.

Just feel lucky that they're just the leechers harassing you (not even like you lose exp) and not the people who actually know what they're doing. This is how map crashes and instant d/c's are found, and have been found.

I've been ... whatever'ed? several times in the FM. Really starting to tick me off.

That explains how I died at aliens today when I had full life and magic guard up. Thing is I did lose EXP from it (or at least all the following deaths as it wouldn't spawn me in the city but the same map I was in). Went from 85% to 55% in about 30 seconds.

I've done some researching.

It's public, and should be patched pretty soon.

i.e. if Nexon possibly has no clue how to patch this... they need to hire some new people. It's so simple and so easy to get rid of.

I guess this is how my store got closed without selling anything, and I got transported to FM entrance, right on top of the add spammers (good way to get permabanned). Didn't lose any exp, and didn't waste the safety charm, so not sure though.

Friends told me I was killed while I was AFK in hene market. When I came home I was standing at hene.

Also seen the bamboo skill being mass spammed in ch 1 entrance, was just a bit laggy and no one was killed.

Its funny to use Final Feint and sit, waitin for a hacker to try and kill you and they seem suprised when it doesnt work.

anyway, I saw either empress' bomb skill or arkarium's poison (the packet editor gets turned into a pig only). it was hilarious and the guy flew around afterwards
