However, I think the best change for this patch is Riot's decision to add "here's to you, kid" for the Jaximus skin in honor of Joe. That was real classy on Riot's part. RIP Joe, your memory will forever be remembered. :')

My opinion of it was dumb. I'm sure plenty of people who have played league have passed, they just weren't made public. They dont get anything out of it, but Joe does because people on the forums basically forced Riot to change it to not look heartless lol.

Adding that special quote to Jaximus shows that Riot listens to the community + shows their human side. I wouldn't say its "dumb". They didn't just added the tribute for him without a reason, no?

Also, saying that Riot is "heartless" if they didn't honor him is way too harsh. I'm sure Riot employees were impacted personally by Joe's plight, and may have pushed for that quote to be added to the Jaximus skin (with the backing of the community, ofc). Implementing this tribute would have been done sooner or later.

This tribute to Joe is one of the most heartfelt, one-of-a-kind action that Riot has ever done IMHO. Unlike champion stats and their abilities - which undergo nerfs, buffs, and QoL updates almost frequently - the tribute will never be changed in any way or form. It will stay there forever for everyone to see.

Show a little empathy, imagine it was you that died and jax was your favorite champion. It is a pretty cool gesture of them.

Am happy I decided to get that skin, it really is a cool skin.
