It's correct. There is Kaiser data in this patch. I don't care what Nexon Korea is releasing at any given time. I only care about what's in the patch data, and Kaiser is in there.

Okay, so I'm gonna just assume that because Afrien's magical, he can change his size at will!
(That or maybe he grew huge in the same way that Maha's Polearm did. Which hasn't really been explained...)
That would help explain some of the confusion in Mercedes's intro, and I still stand by my thought that they just accidently made Freud dress up like Evan in Mercedes' intro vid.

So, let me get this straight.

Demon Slayer busts in and breaks the Black Mage's shields, but gets owned afterwards.

Mercedes, Freud, and Aifren bust in and weaken the Black Mage enough to be sealed, Mercedes and Aifren go down.

Aran didn't even make it to the Black Mage, she gets injured by his minions.

Phantom's just fucking around.

And then Luminous shows up and seals the Black Mage with some help from Freud.

.....

That's pretty underwhelming considering how powerful the story has been saying the Black Mage is all this time.

Well, at least from this new world select screen, we know they haven't forgotten Orchid and Lotus.
