FlashJump for Slingers
#1
I found this out when I was trying out Gunslingers in a private server, not too long ago.

If you put Float,Recoil Shot, and Float on a macro,in that order,it turns into a "Flash Jump".

The 1st Float is to get you into the air,it then goes straight into a Recoil shot.
Ok this is where it gets good;the next Float uses the sliding inertia made by the recoil shot to propel you into a faster lateral Float.I checked to see how it stacks up to other modes of transport, and it goes faster than a Red Draco, maybe even Teleport!

The distance it carries you depends if both skills are maxed, whether or not u have booster on,and whether or not u have high jump and speed.

Hope this helps any new Gunslingers~

I just tried this earlier in game, it's really amazing. Great for decreasing travel time. I only have level 10 Recoil Shot/5 Float too.

The only problem is you can't really attack in between.

That one vid of that girl shows this, just doesn't use float at the beginning but rather jump.

You can save yourself some mp if you use jump and macro recoil + float. Only difference is recoil is used exactly at your high point while human reaction isn't as fast 100% of the time [for almost anyone :x].

And this has been discussed before but it's helpful for new people.

I found this rather annoying. You can already use Recoil + Dash as a flash jump. It's faster then the lvl 120 mount by far. Once you recoil, you have to hit the ground for float to activate, and then you can't turn it off when you want.

How do you use Wings in mid-air?

erm...

when float>>> then recoil = <<<< then float>>>

this seems like jumping in origin spot... am i correct?

^I haven't tried this but, im assuming when you use float, it auto jumps you, and at the peak of the jump, shoots you backwards. when float activates again, you wouldn't change directions, but keep going backwards with the speed of the recoil shot.
not sure tho Tongue

Float doesn't change your horizontal movement. The momentum from Recoil propels you until you hit the ground.

You can't move and macro, so you jump up, recoil back then jump up again.

You don't. It activates when you hit the ground.

It's a fancy jump key.
